My stay last week at the Hotel zum Grafenwall...Some time ago I moved to Thuringia for work reasons.Until recently I had my main residence in Recklinghausen, but then I gave it up.Since I wanted to surprise my father, it was clear that I would rent a room from Manuela.Everything went absolutely smoothly.Nothing is missing, every wish is fulfilled.Be it an extra blanket or something else.The room was very spacious, bright and super clean.The room is cleaned every other day, everything smells fresh and clean.I would book a room again at any time because it is perfectly located for me due to its proximity to the city and the train station.A few times I had booked breakfast, where everything was thought of.Manuela and her team do a great job with attention to detail.

A beautiful viewVery nice single roomEven with three chairs you can also sit together very nicely and have a nice game eveningCustomers are friendly no matter what, they are always there when something happens, I think it's great

The hotel is PURE HORROR!!So filthy and dirty, it stinks of cigarette butt smoke even though smoking is banned, the bathrooms are filthy and stink of urine, the toilets are dirty and unhygienic!The apartment with the kitchen that I had with 2 colleagues was disgusting, the dishes were terribly dirty, nothing had been washed and the floors were dirty and sticky. The kitchen was a disaster.The wardrobe in a 4 bed room was broken and dirty.There were even toenails under the bed, the small couch at the table wasn't cleaned, there was dust and dirt behind the small chest of drawers!!No blinds on the window in the bathroom!!Just noise!!I can't say anything about breakfast, we didn't order it because we were there for assembly and the room was only for overnight stays.The cleaning ladies definitely do NOT clean!The shower cubicle is TOTALLY moldy and greasy.The hotel only has good reviews because they are 100% FAKE!! Thousands of friends and acquaintances came and went there in the 5 days and 2 names that are in this review still sound very familiar to me from hearing it!!The health department should go there.

My minimum requirement: the main thing is clean. Even that was not fulfilled.The room was completely worn out and built up. It smelled musty and like old cigarette smoke. In the bathroom after urine. The bathroom had no window and no vent. There were still bunches of hair in the shower.It was only possible to sleep with earplugs because there was a party in the pub in the same building until early in the morning.No bedside tables or sockets by the bed. No light switch near the bed.Price for the room was significantly higher than stated on the website.Why can a hotel like this get 3.7 stars???

I am super satisfied!And I can definitely recommend this hotel with a clear conscience! Everything is done to ensure that the guests are satisfied. Not like the big hotel chains. You arrive and are warmly welcomed. The staff was super friendly. The rooms were really very clean. The food also filled me up. I'm really very satisfied and I'll definitely come back when I'm in the areaYou are a great hotel!Thank you for such a great stay with you! See you next time

The hotel is in a great location, you're right next to the train station and the city center... you have the opportunity to get everywhere pretty quickly and also go shopping for things quicklyThere is also a snack machine in front of the door which is ideal for nighttime cravings and you can buy delicious things from it without any problems... Service and staff are top notch and the rooms are very clean and well maintained.I can only recommend it because I am more than satisfied and am definitely looking forward to the next visit

This one star is for the friendly staff. Everything else is terrible.Odor; stale smoke mixed with mold cleanerHave a shower; You can do it cold or with boiling hot waterBath; no soap, mold, stinks, old scratchy bath towelsLoud; abnormally loud. There was a party downstairs in the bar until early in the morning. Had to “sleep” with ear plugs.Room; Cables are everywhere, no bedside table, no socket by the bed, no privacy curtains, absolutely uncomfortableFloor; didn't want to walk around without shoesBreakfast; very lean, only condensed milk, one kind of roll, only jelly jam and dried nut spread.Why this hotel has 3.7 stars is a mystery to me.

Help never again, the son of the Braun family was unfriendly, smoked in my face, where I got the room, the room, the toilet lid was loose, the carpet smelled, disgusting, the breakfast was very bad, the butter was expired I was scared in the hotel

Everything is fine in this house. It is right near the train station and the city center, so every place is easily accessible. A short tour outside the accommodation is recommended with the many small shops around.
