Had a family dinner there for my birthday. Eating a la cart. Family friendly and child friendly, overall accommodating. The food was once again very good, something for everyone.There is also variety for the children by visiting animals/deer, looking at ducks or playing games from a wooden chest.We also brought our own toys and painting supplies and used them to entertain the children in between.We had a lovely evening and we all felt very comfortable. Thank you! We'd love to come back.

Very warm and friendly, excellent food, very nice terrace. We'll definitely come back, it's a shame it's a long way for us, otherwise we would come regularly. Really highly recommended.

The only thing that wasn't nice for me was the stuffed bear in the hallway. That doesn't have to be the case these days.

We felt very comfortable there on our bike tour. The boss himself took care of a small technical problem with the bike. The food and service were very good. The room appears to have been recently renovated. The breakfast was good.

We were here as a cycling group and overall we felt very comfortable. The bikes were safely stowed in the garage and the hotel's own guard dog looked after them 😉The dinner was plentiful and delicious and the staff including the boss were top, friendly and very accommodating. The breakfast was also good.Only the rooms are very old. Unfortunately my bathroom wasn't the cleanest, which can be seen especially from the shower head. That's a little disappointing, since you can get a new shower head for a small dollar. And shower curtains are no longer appropriate these days.Nevertheless, we had a nice time and were able to continue cycling the next day.

Rurally located and furnished accordingly. Very quaint and cozy. We were invited here for a birthday and spent 1 night there. The staff is very friendly. Food was super delicious 😋. There is an enclosure with deer outside. Totally beautiful. Reken is a nice little place. The area is ideal for hiking and cycling. I can recommend the hotel with restaurant to everyone. We felt totally comfortable. 👌

Went there for coffee on Easter Monday. When the cake came we were very disappointed: frozen apple cake! You can expect homemade cakes from a place like this. It tasted watery and was still cold inside.

We live in Reken and always like to eat in the restaurant there. Always a good selection of different dishes and everything is really tasty. The service is very nice and accommodating. The restaurant also has an outdoor terrace, where you can sit outside when the weather is nice with a view of the hotel's own deer. There are a lot of antiques to admire in the restaurant, so we always feel very comfortable there.

I'm at the hotel on Monday. Very good and clean rooms/beds, clean staff. Breakfast was very good as was their menu.

The hotel is extremely old.The heating didn't work the first night and I contacted the owner the morning after. She absorbed the whole thing materially. The second night it was only slightly warmer. Nobody came to me and informed me whether or what was being done, asked me how the stay was or apologized.I booked a single room without breakfast in October 23 for February 24 under certain conditions. I was charged a higher price upon departure. When I asked the owner in a friendly manner, she said, “Yes, we have increased them, everything has become more expensive.” That may be true, but we have signed a contract and then raising the prices without comment is extremely cheeky. You have to inform about something like this beforehand. The lady didn't let anyone talk to her and said she couldn't settle it any other way. She owns the hotel! An absolute nonsense.In addition, a huge brown dog runs freely on the premises and through the dining room! If you are afraid of dogs or don't want to for hygiene reasons, this is the wrong place for you.Unfortunately, absolutely not recommended.
