I visited this lovely property last week. I had a wonderful view of the castle. In general it can be said that the area surrounding the hotel is something very special. We recommend!

It was my first time at the Hotel am Wasserschloss Raesfeld and I was thrilled:Super idyllic location with a great view and very nicely furnished rooms. Despite being there for work, it felt like a short vacation.The employees were always friendly and super helpful. You can feel that everything is very family-like! I'm already looking forward to my next stay!

The Hotel am Wasserschloss in Raesfeld is beautifully located, directly opposite the castle.As a craftswoman (who receives orders there from time to time) I have been in all the rooms. These are comfortably furnished and have insect screens!Ms. Hoffmann is my main contact; I always find her to be extremely courteous and friendly. She loves what she does and it shows :-)

This hotel and its staff is a little break from it all. The fine details in and around the house ensure this, the rooms are reminiscent of a stay on Sylt, maritime with fine details. Animal friendly is added💗. A separate common room ensures a relaxed and cozy atmosphere. The breakfast is served with a lot of love and the view is unique in winter as well as summer.This hotel is a fine jewel box and: My insider tip 💗.

A particularly attractive small family hotel in an idyllic location directly opposite the castle.You can't do it better.And a very warm welcome on arrival with a fantastic and very extensive breakfast the next morning.Beautiful beds, a small touch of chocolate on the pillow has a big impact.What we regretted was that the breakfast room was locked after the reception. This meant that during our New Year's Eve stay we had to converse between four blind walls with no view at all.We missed being able to make ourselves a cup of coffee or tea. A small point of attention perhaps.Of course this hotel gets the full 5 stars from us because the above is of course based on a personal basis and expectations.We would love to come back next time, but we honestly have to admit that we find an additional charge of €15 per dog per night disproportionate.But of course that is also our personal opinion and decision.The location and the excellent service and breakfast make a stay here an absolute must.

This small, cozy hotel gave us a wonderful weekend. We were greeted very friendly at reception and immediately felt the special charm of the hotel. It is furnished with great attention to detail and offers a fantastic view of the castle opposite, especially at night when everything is lit up. The rich breakfast left nothing to be desired! We were able to have breakfast here in a great atmosphere:- great breakfast buffet with attention to detail- very friendly staff who put their heart and soul into it- very idyllic location directly at Raesfeld Castle- Shopping, celebration and leisure opportunities in the immediate vicinity or just a leisurely walk in the zoo

We were visiting friends living in Raesfeld. This hotel is nicely located in front of a 15th century castle. Many places to eat very well. The room was clean, the bed was excellent, a nice bathroom and an outstanding breakfast.The lady who manage the place was so nice and eager to please.It is a very good place to stay.

In my opinion the hotel is very nice. It's right next to the castle. You can also sit in front of the hotel with a view of the castle. The rooms are also very nice. They are cozy and clean. I highly recommend it. You have to see it once.

Our stay was very nice, but the breakfast was very simple and the fact that we were charged an extra €6 extra for the orange juice 0.2 cl even though we had already paid for breakfast was not acceptable. The room we booked also had 3 beds that were 1.40 wide standing at an angle, every time you wanted to turn around you hit your head or your arms, which is how the night was. Despite everything, we found it very nice but the price was just too high, sorry

I found the castle and the houses around it stunning. When I paid the bill I quickly came down to earth. We travel a lot and have seen many hotels. So I personally don't think €135 is justified. The breakfast for a total of €15 was a disaster. Included: A small glass of orange juice for €6. I put €20 on it and have a 4 star hotel in Paderborn.
