Great location, very quiet, 7 minutes to the train station, 5 minutes to the next stop. Room top. Breakfast buffet completely ok, sausage, cheese, good rolls and fresh bread. scrambled eggs bacon etc...Unfortunately there is no one on site after 2 p.m. Service via intercom but guaranteed.Update 10/9/24Checking in via video intercom works great, room is ok again. Any time.5 🌟

We spent one night at the Hotel Claudius. The room has everything you need for an overnight stay or a longer stay. The design is modern and friendly. The beds are comfortable, as is the bathroom with a walk-in shower and large roof towels. All we needed was air conditioning. The location is perfect for all activities in the city center. Whether the theater, music forum, Bermuda3eck or train station: everything can be easily reached on foot in about 15 minutes. The location in a residential area is extremely quiet. The service is attentive and competent. Even if the reception is no longer staffed after 2 p.m., staff can be reached via an intercom (operated 24 hours a day). It was also possible to book a parking space (for a relatively low daily rate). We didn't have breakfast, just a look at the attractive offerings. We would book this hotel again for our next stay.

Very quietly located hotel in the center of Bochum. We were here for the tent festival and the connection to the main train station and the shuttle bus to the festival was great. The breakfast buffet is rich. Only recommended. We'd love to come back.

My wife and I had a pleasant 2 night stay at the Claudius. Our room was functional, had a safe, a large bathroom and was very clean. We found the beds to be comfortable. The hotel is in a quiet location. The city center is 15 minutes away and the main train station is about 10 minutes away on foot. Paid parking spaces are available directly at the hotel. We were absolutely satisfied with the price-performance ratio. We can recommend the Hotel Claudius for a stay in Bochum.

We were here for a long weekend. The rooms are actually very quiet when there isn't a party going on in the courtyard. Nobody from the hotel notices this because no one is there after 2 p.m. The rooms are sufficiently large and clean. The only thing to note here is that the staff should be trained to ensure that towels that are on the floor are replaced and not placed back together in the bathroom. The staff at reception and at breakfast were very friendly. There was something for everyone at breakfast. If something ran out, more was added. Very nice little hotel.

Even though we only stayed in the hotel for one night, I would like to share my positive experiences. A central and surprisingly quiet place with a very friendly and attentive staff. …

Nice little hotel with 18 rooms. Very quietly located in the Claudius Höfe. Bochum city center and the main station are within walking distance. There are also (paid) parking spaces at the house. Rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast buffet has something for everyone. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We'd love to come back.

At that time. The rooms are very nice and well furnished. Original, functional and very clean. Tidy bathroom, comfortable shower, dispensers with soap, shower shampoo and body cream available (no conditioner here too, damn!). Comfortable bed.The location is optimal: a very quiet area a stone's throw from the station. The structure is new, nice, with a beautiful internal courtyard which I believe is used in the summer.I didn't take advantage of the breakfast. The sore point: the service. I arrived at the hotel before 6pm, and everything was closed, there was no one around, moment of panic, then I found an intercom (the reception and the actual hotel have two separate entrances), and I managed to talk to a lady (luckily she spoke English, but she could hear very badly from the intercom and it was difficult to understand even just the room number). Moral: he opened the door and told me that the key was in the room, and that for any other needs I should have called... too bad he didn't find any telephone in the room! Among other things, the reception hours indicated that it was open until 8pm (and the instructions in the room were only in German).Well, let's say that the reception part needs to be improved.
