We went there for dinner with a large family - 10 adults, 6 children.The boss had opened especially for us. We were able to order a la carte and he also accommodated special requests. He was very friendly, took a lot of care, kept asking questions and at the end he bought everyone dessert. The food was very good and was served very nicely. Prices moderate.VERY big praise!

Unfortunately, I cannot describe any positive impressions of the hotel because the double room was canceled at short notice by HRS on behalf of the hotel on the day of arrival. I had booked the hotel via Check24 through the provider HRS and the day before I received a reminder via SMS from HRS with the booking details. The fact that HRS then contacts me via SMS/email on the day of arrival to inform me that the hotel has canceled the booking is absurd. When the hotel was called, system errors and double bookings were reported. Very strange that it was only noticed on the day of arrival, even though the booking had already taken place 1.5 months before! Since the hotel had no alternative to offer, we had to stay 30 km away in Lingen at a more expensive price. Could the room possibly be rented out to others at a higher price on the day of arrival? After all, we probably weren't the only ones who wanted to go to a concert at the prison that day. We chose the hotel specifically because of the short walk so we didn't have to drive. Very annoying when you have to reschedule from NRW at such short notice. When I called the hotel it sounded as if the hotel couldn't do anything about it, but I was informed by HRS that the hotel had made the cancellation itself.

A 2 star+ hotel that can keep up with 4 stars. Very, very nice staff, everything clean in a nice place. We asked by phone at 9 p.m. for a room for one night with breakfast, even though we didn't arrive until 10 p.m. We received a very friendly welcome. The breakfast is also very varied so there is something for every taste. We can highly recommend it. :)Britta & Karsten
