Top friendly and uncomplicated staff, great location in the heart of Münster, nice corners with places to discover and extravagant details, price and performance are absolutely right, breakfast with a view of the hustle and bustle at the Ägidiimarkt, I hope that the plan to offer dinner will be implemented soon Interior contains pieces from the legendary "Café Schucan", parking garage directly opposite. Keep it up! I'd love to come back!

Average hotel; Room is ok.Breakfast is not possible at all: for €16 you can have two rolls and oneDrink choose 5 side dishes; everything else will be charged extra at €1.20. A no go for breakfast at that price. It's better to have breakfast in the opposite newspaper!

The hotel is very centrally located in Münster. I arrived on a Sunday evening and unfortunately the reception was not staffed. I don't know whether I didn't receive the information by email or whether I didn't read it. The room was relatively ok. I find it a bit worrying that the balcony door to the inner courtyard is accessible to everyone. The breakfast was also good and the staff was friendly. Unfortunately, the cappuccino was just average.

We booked one night at the Hotel Central on a bike tour. The room had an unsecured platform in front of the terrace door. …

The hotel is centrally located. The reception was friendly. The check-in date could be improved - 1600 hours is already very limited. Room was large, clean, well maintained and modern. The hotel itself struck us as fresh and modernImpression. The staff were consistently friendly. Breakfast was more than rich and very good. Price performance is completely okay. We will be back.

I spent six nights in this hotel and immediately fell for two clever phrases when booking: 1) All rooms are called comfort rooms. The lowest category room is also called a comfort room. The other categories are comfort rooms with a view and comfort rooms plus... If, like me, you stupidly don't look closely, you think you've booked a higher category and end up in an ugly, dark slump. The room opens onto a terrace that is accessible to Hinz and Kunz, so you have to keep the curtains on the floor-to-ceiling windows closed for privacy. "Art and culture", which begins the room description on the website, will be searched in vain. The floor, spartan furniture and curtains are cavernous dark brown, the walls are piggy pink. The art is limited to the escape route plan on the wall. There is no closet, just a clothes rail that is so high that you can hardly reach it if you are 1.60 m tall. The same problem with the towel rack in the bathroom. In addition, the smell from the sink drain was so disgusting that I had to leave the window open even when I was away. We remember: It's on the terrace... So you're well advised to have a suitcase lock with a cable or something similar with you that you can use to secure the tilted window to some extent. My point about the smell was acknowledged at reception with a succinct shrug of the shoulders and "there's nothing we can do". 2) A "Total price INCLUDING TAXES" was confirmed upon reservation. When checking out, the overnight price suddenly increased by the city of Münster's accommodation TAX, i.e. a whopping 4.5%. The subsequent correspondence was friendly, but unfortunately also completely unprofessional. So be careful when booking to make sure all costs have been taken into account. For me it came to an average rate of €159 per night without breakfast and given the miserable room and all the other annoyances, that's just outrageous, even if the location of the hotel is good. So much for the two points where I explicitly feel ripped off. On to breakfast. The etagere breakfast is a nice idea for a small house where a buffet doesn't make sense. But here too the price-performance ratio is really bad. You pay €15.90 for two rolls including butter and exactly one cup of coffee (which was inedible for two days) or tea as well as a glass of water or orange juice and you can then choose five other components. However, the selection is very narrow. When it comes to cheese, for example, you can choose between Gouda and Edam, and when it comes to cold cuts, you can choose between ham and salami. The portion sizes are so clearly sized that you can barely fit two rolls together. One day even egg wasn't available. The quality of the products is absolutely average, the garnish is precisely counted: a slice of cucumber, a cherry tomato and a lettuce leaf. For anything you want beyond the five included components, a dollop of cream cheese or jam for example, you have to pay €1.20. Regarding room service: Didn't take place in three days. No cleaning, no garbage disposal. Nothing. When I checked out, I was offered a discount of two breakfasts. Overall, I had the impression that the shop was run by young temporary workers, who were all friendly, but also not experts. Finally, a comment about the life-size nude photo in the entrance area. There's no arguing about taste, but nude photos, no matter how artistic they may be, definitely do not belong in a place where a multitude of people come and go who - for a number of conceivable reasons - accept the view of nudity that has been forced upon them probably not everyone will appreciate it equally.

Great city hotel with a wonderful coffee shop on ground level and directly in the city center and walking distance to all Muenster highlights. Rooms are spacious but not luxurious and somewhat dark. Except for the coffee shop, limited services. Ideal for business or student travelers or for a quick overnight stay. Very well managed and easy check in / out.
