Highly RecommendedRooms are clean, breakfast is sufficient, you also have to consider the price/performance ratio. If you have high expectations, you should book a correspondingly expensive hotel. The garden is beautifully designedThe boss conveys a family atmosphere (at 83 years old he is an absolutely likeable person)👍

I think a bit of renovation would do the hotel good, I'm thinking of the beds, the mattresses and the bathroom. In its current state it is not recommended.

So when I read this by Thomas Horn I just have to laugh. You have more knowledge than sense. Your picture with the one (I emphasize one) beetle is amazing. I have no idea how spoiled you are, but if you don't have a clue you should just keep it. Stayed in this hotel for one night and will definitely visit it again as soon as I'm nearby. The room was super clean and the atmosphere alone calmed any worker stress.... 4 stars on all three!!!

The hotel certainly had its peak in the 80s. The boss gave us a friendly welcome and let the door close in my face as I ran up to the room. After we arrived in the room I can report the following. The bathroom is probably from the 70s or 80s and is basically clean. The light in the bathroom is a disaster, you can almost see better with a flashlight. We had an attic room. I must have hit my head on a beam five times there. The bed was comfortable, the linens freshly washed. When you lay on the bed and looked down at the floor, you felt like the big crawl in Disney's movie. There wasn't a vacuum cleaner there for months. Since we were there in the summer months, we wanted to air things out a bit. The window was completely warped and you couldn't open or tilt it properly. The socket panel was partially broken off, and one extension cable extends to the next. We paid €75 for that night. The breakfast was good, although the hotel gets the sausage from a butcher and he shouldn't boast about the quality. There were also baked rolls and thin coffee.

Horrifying and disgusting! Never again! The sanitary area is a farce. Unfortunately, there is no smell internet. Smell of urine when entering the room! Toilet lid folded up and almost broken...dragging marks!!! But the owner seems to have already found new guests (those who haven't lived here for long) to run his house. Oh, almost forgotten - little crawly creatures in the bathroom (see photo).Anyone who visits here must be aware of the health risks.PS: two weeks later-I don't regret the style or expression of my review in any way and I don't take anything back out of consideration for the older owners. We want readers to know what to expect in this house. Certainly none of us are getting any younger - but once you have dedicated yourself to a task, you should complete it carefully and with dedication; You simply owe that to your paying guests! It's inconceivable to me that unfortunately not everyone in the hospitality industry thinks that way.And if it's no longer possible to do this job due to various things, you just have to look for solutions or leave it alone - even if it's difficult; definitely better than having dissatisfied guests. And I haven't even written down all the negatives yet!Greetings to everyone reading from a normal assembly worker who is neither snobby nor fussy.

Some people should think before writing reviews. Also about what you can do with it.It's true that the furniture is no longer the latest and could be cleaned a little more carefully BUT my room was clean except for small things and I slept very well in the bed.So I was here to spend some time back home. Alone. For me. And I'm glad I decided to retire. The guesthouse has been around longer than me and the host couple hasn't gotten any younger with it. But still (if you can get along with the Upper Franconian mentality) I think that the boss is an old-school restaurateur. Attentive, polite and hardworking. And if you spend most of your time in your room - at least in summer - you'll miss the highlight of the guesthouse anyway. The beautiful, lovingly maintained garden with plenty of seating.I can't complain about breakfast, it wasn't a 3 course menu but it was more than sufficient. So I'm satisfied or maybe a little more modest.
