We were there for two days with breakfast. Mr. Tzschoppe was very friendly and a great host.The room was very clean, well furnished. There are even house bathrobes. We had a double room with a bathroom across the hall.Breakfast consisted of bread, light baked rolls, juice, cold cuts, cereal, eggs (boiled and fried), cheese, milk, coffee and cocoa. During the day you could express your wishes by ticking a box on a piece of paper. Unfortunately there was no option for vegetables or fruits. That would still be desirable and great.There is a bus stop within walking distance, about 5 minutes away, from where you can easily get to downtown Bayreuth.We would definitely book again.Great value for money.

I stayed in this hotel for three nights and I must say that I felt at home. The large and bright room with seating area plus a large balcony to relax in and plus the owners, a husband and wife who are super kind and super helpful. Excellent breakfast. Super recommended. There was also a kitchen available where you could cook or heat things.

The rooms were clean, quiet, and well-maintained, with the added convenience of a small kitchenette and coffee machine.The landlords were very friendly and accommodating. The location is in a peaceful area, perfect for a quiet stay. Additionally, one has the option for breakfast. Payment was straightforward, settled upon returning the keys. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

We went there three times with a small dog.Everything fits perfectly, the landlord couple is super nice, breakfast is great and a huge selection to suit your needs.The rooms are all modern and the beds are super comfortable.The communal kitchen is well equipped if you want to cater for yourself.We feel really comfortable there and have already reserved for next time.We are looking forward to it - many thanks to the landlords :)

We have been guests at Schlehenberg three times this year. The breakfast was a pure pampering program. We felt very comfortable [even though one had to study and work full time] The landlords and their friendliness towards people and dogs contributed a lot! Well being.

Extremely friendly and attentive hosts. Rooms very clean. Breakfast sustainable and more than sufficient. Location is of course not central, but there are good connections to public transport and you can quickly get to the city by car.

Very friendly, dog-friendly landlords. Nice, clean and quiet rooms with the opportunity to make food in a small kitchen or get a coffee from the fully automatic machine. Breakfast, put together as desired, was the ideal start to the day. Excellent price-performance ratio, highly recommended!

We were thrilled from the start. Great host, nice rooms and a fantastic breakfast!The owner has renovated all the rooms in a very modern way - looks great - and with very modern and comfortable box spring beds. Unfortunately, the images on most portals and their own homepage have not yet been updated! We were even more positively surprised when we arrived!From the accommodation it is less than 4km to the city center of Bayreuth. For us, the location was ideal for hiking - great location between Franconian Switzerland and the Fichtel Mountains!We'll be back!!
