Very clean, rustic hotel.Nice receptionist and information about the hotel.Swimming pool and solarium available.For breakfast we had delicious scrambled eggs and meatballs/meat patties. Otherwise an offer like in other hotels.Unfortunately the pretzels with cheese were bone dry and hard.

We stayed in this great hotel for 4 nights.Despite the impending closure and the impending loss of their jobs, all the employees were very, very friendly. No matter whether reception, breakfast service or cleaning fairy, everyone was so nice and hardworking.The breakfast was incredibly tasty, varied and very lovingly prepared.It was constantly refilled, used dishes were cleared away and everyone had a smile on their face and kind words for us guests.We felt very comfortable and would have loved to come back.We wish all employees all the best and hopefully a new job very soon.

The building itself is a bit old, but the rooms have been partially renovated and are perfectly fine. Had a newly renovated room with a small roof balcony.Everything OK.Service at breakfast can still be optimized, the lady was almost not there.Otherwise everything is plentiful.I didn't use the indoor pool or sauna.

The rooms with balconies are modern and of sufficient size. The bathroom with its sliding glass door takes some getting used to. Everything was clean with room for improvement. The swimming pool isn't too big, but it's a great way to cool off after a long day. The friendliness of the staff at breakfast is ok, but the lady at the reception is out of place, she wasn't present most of the time and therefore wasn't available to answer questions. When you arrive you will be presented with the tablet to register and if you are lucky you will find out where breakfast is available, the rest you have to find out yourself. Upon departure, no one asked how the stay was, nor was there a please or thank you... With such an employee, it makes perfect sense to check in and out online, even if all these automated emails are annoying.

The big disadvantage is that there is unfortunately no restaurant. Not as advertised on the internet. The parking spaces for e-bikes are more than just modest. The breakfast offering makes up for it a bit.

It's incredible. We booked for seven nights. It should be a superior room. After repeated requests, it was only cleaned twice... or rather the bed was made. We take it for granted that a room in this price range is cleaned daily. The dirt on the balcony has apparently been ignored for months. The towel used to clean the chairs was beyond dirty afterwards, which we had to do ourselves. The hotel is in a generally neglected condition. The four stars are an absolute joke. The cleaning staff tries hard, but with an estimated age of over 70, they are definitely overwhelmed. In the breakfast room there is a staff trying very hard to save anything that can no longer be saved. The only plus point is the selection at the breakfast buffet, but here too the quality is lacking. Too bad. Franconia generally stands for good cuisine.

The hotel used to be great. There is no kitchen anymore. The breakfast is poor. Apparently staff were also saved.The rooms are unchanged as they were then (2022), i.e. i.e. the defective balcony door has still not been repaired.The best thing is still the in-house swimming pool (5 stars for this).Overall, I am very disappointed compared to our last visit 😞

A wonderfully centrally located hotel and yet you can still hear the PEACE!The rooms were relatively comfortable and the bathroom was amazing! Rarely have I experienced such beneficial lighting! The shower was a dream and for the first time a make-up mirror, which was super helpful! A small table (possibly a folding table) would enrich the balcony, for example to spend the evening sun playing games and to be able to enjoy a chilled beer from the refrigerator (lobby) in a casual and private manner. We found it very pleasant to be able to take chilled drinks to our room on site! The only point of criticism concerns the breakfast! Basically a really large and very good selection of food and drinks! Unfortunately, at the main breakfast time of 9 a.m. on Sundays, there were not enough seats and the waiting times at the coffee machine were sometimes unreasonable, but the food was refilled quickly! Maybe a second machine would be helpful, or you could simply dispense coffee in pots?The staff was generally very nice and helpful!I would like to recommend the hotel at any time!

The house was unfortunately a bit old, the room was unfortunately very dusty + ashes on the balcony + a self-made ashtray filled by the guest left behind. The three of us were able to stay overnight in the suit for an additional charge of €60. Bathroom is new but unfortunately not cleaned properly. Swimming pool very old, ceiling peeling, shower in the sauna full of mold and musty smell! Unfortunately there are no doors described in the swimming pool, so you don't know where you're allowed in at first. Breakfast delicious and good selection! For vegetarians/vegans, a sweet breakfast or bread with tomato/cucumber.Reception came itself to vacuum/dust the room again but no apology or little attention, what a shame! Unfortunately Bamberg is 40 minutes away.

According to the booking, nice room, functional bathroom, very interesting, effective lighting. Parking space at the house. Small drawback - missing shower mat, therefore slippery. Unfortunately, during our stay the indoor pool could not be used due to cleaning. Breakfast buffet varied and varied. Balcony (street side) still usable, noise level OK for a village street with quiet at night.Overall conclusion: definitely recommended, only the regional situation for dinner after 2000 p.m. is not possible and it takes a lot of getting used to.

Really everything was good, nice hotel, friendly staff, nice rooms, nice bathroom, great breakfast.Our room faced the street and was very, very loud. It's almost impossible to leave the windows open at night. That's the only drawback. But we'd love to come back, maybe in a room at the back 😬
