First the really positive things.Breakfast and the service are really worth 5 stars and make your stay there an ok experience. The beds were really good and the rooms were more of a 60's vintage style. Which wouldn't be so bad if there hadn't been rooms without toilets or showers. But it is not mentioned in any way on the site or in the reviews. The rooms without a toilet had a shower in the middle of the sleeping area, but the toilet was in the hallway. This should probably be mentioned clearly! That would have been an exclusion criterion for us to even choose the “hotel”.We were just lucky because the hotel (which didn't deserve the name) wasn't fully booked, so we could choose.A double room with toilet, no shower, but bathtub. We found it to be a better solution than having to go into the hallway at night. There was no service. There was a piece of paper at the back door with a number on it where you could find the innkeeper. He then came, gave us the keys and was no longer seen.Checking in was completely hassle-free, and checking out was at the breakfast service, which then collected the tourist tax. Innkeeper...not seen. The existing beer garden is not served at all times. It's there - the beer garden - but there is NO service in this house. It's probably not worth serving, perhaps because legal requirements no longer meet, or so we suspect. Fire protection in the form required by law is also not available. You can get drinks from a vending machine, that's it.Room cleaning, not available. But to be fair, the rooms are very clean when you check in.We paid almost €300 for two nights for a hotel that didn't deserve the name. The only thing that was renovated was the breakfast room.Yes, this industry has been hit hard by Corona, but charging the minimum for the full price is also not fair.

A little jewel awakened from the Sleeping Beauty slumber. Very friendly staff who respond to guests' wishes. The rooms are individually renovated. Great location, great breakfast, good mattresses, everything was uncomplicated, pleasant and very good value for money. We went hiking as a small group and would love to come back! Thanks!

The hotel has been vacant for 16 years. But efforts are being made to renovate piece by piece. The innkeeper is definitely the friendliest I have experienced in a long time. The wishes were implemented even before they were expressed. After a hearty breakfast you were prepared for the day. We'll be back and won't miss any TV

How nice, hurry up while it still passes as an “insider tip”. With the friendly innkeeper, the breakfast and the lived history of the house, it has been a long time since an inn that you will remember positively. See you soon ,I would like to come back.

Great value for money, perfect for groupsThe nice owner is very accommodating and helpful. We had a sumptuous breakfast every day and were allowed to use the breakfast room as a group room in the evenings. The rooms are currently being renovated, but are clean and equipped with everything you need. We would definitely come again.

We were there with a climbing group of 10 people and had 5 double rooms. The rooms were still in the old style, but clean. According to the host, they will be gradually renovated soon. The host was very accommodating and let us use the breakfast room as a common room in the evenings and even provided cutlery, plates and a beer cooler for our self-organized dinner. The breakfast at the table was very generous and we were even able to take a snack with us for lunch at no extra charge.Overall, great value for money, we would love to come back!
