We were there with the whole family for a long weekend and had the house to ourselves (booked in advance)About the hosts:It's rare to find such loving and helpful people 👍There's no need to say more!The food was great. The breakfast buffet was sufficiently laid out and had a large selection. (Even I, as a non-breakfast eater, was at breakfast)In the evening we had booked fixed dishes in advance, which all tasted very good.The rooms, like the whole house, were sparkling clean and tidy.Best regards

The hotel is rather simple and not a hotel in that sense. It is located about 20 minutes outside of Bayreuth. It is practical and inexpensive as group accommodation or for mechanics. There is also a barbecue facility.The rooms are simple but clean.Self-catering with use of the kitchen is possible!

We were guests there in 2022 with a large group and we were completely satisfied. have also booked for 2024.Wishes that have not yet been expressed are fulfilled there. Very attentive friendly hosts. We were here with the family for a weekend. The rooms are very simple, but everything was clean and sufficient.The service was very good, very accommodating. The breakfast was plentiful and there was something for everyone, plus there was very good coffee, cappuccino, chocolate, tea...whatever your heart desired. We had booked barbecue service. There was something for everyone, including vegetarians. Everything was grilled well. I have one little tip: I would have been happy with a homemade salad 😉 But otherwise everything was good value for money!

To be honest, my stay here wasn't a great experience. The rooms were outdated but OK. However, a more thorough cleaning in some areas of the house wouldn't have hurt. The owner was anything but friendly. The surveillance cameras everywhere have completely destroyed the sense of privacy. If you are looking for a pleasant stay I would look elsewhere.

We stayed at the Hotel Dressel with 38 theater friends in August 2023 and from there explored Bayreuth (including the festival) and the surrounding area with our bus. The rooms are simple. But everything is there. The service was great and the food was tasty and sufficient.

We spent a weekend here for a family celebration with around 45 people. The innkeepers were very accommodating. The range of rooms and layout is ideal for so many people. The location and surroundings are ideal for hiking and relaxation. The house is a bit old, but overall the price-performance ratio is very good.

I haven't written a review for a long time but I thought it was necessary here. I celebrated my 18th birthday with friends and family here in October over a whole weekend. The location is top. The hosts were super relaxed and open. We were allowed to bring our own drinks (including the tap) which was no problem at all. On the contrary, we were allowed to use the refrigerator and the glasses. We bought the food from the inn and that was also great. The rooms were great. Even my 90-year-old grandma managed without any problems. The house is located in such a way that you can play music in the evening without disturbing anyone. All in all, such a good experience that one of the guests is now planning to hold a celebration there. Thank you for a wonderful, uncomplicated birthday that is still being talked about a lot today

As a group of 24 people, we were very satisfied with the services and the ambience of the hotel. We were the only guests in the house from Thursday to Sunday. Half board was booked. Breakfast and dinner were sufficient and good. The selection of drinks was also good and inexpensive. Since we as a group had the house to ourselves, we were able to sit, dance and celebrate together in the restaurant every evening. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The rooms we booked were clean and bright. The area is very scenic and ideal for hikes. The house is highly recommended for group trips. We were all very satisfied and will definitely be repeat customers! A big thank you to Mathias, Klaus and Florin!
