I find the family running the hotel very friendly and helpful. I find the breakfast buffet particularly delicious, with a wide selection of fresh, sweet and salty, delicious dishes. The location is also so convenient that you can walk to most important places such as the district court, bus station, train station and Rotmain Center in just a few minutes. The rooms don't have refrigerators, but since there's more than one supermarket within walking distance, you can help yourself to cool drinks. I arrived in the middle of the night more than once and had concerns about whether the check-in machine was doing its job. But to my surprise, it was easy to use and gave me my key card properly every time. Always happy again!

The reviewers of the 1-3 star reviews might want to work on managing their expectations! If I book a cheap, no-frills hotel close to the city with no luxury and a simple breakfast, then I shouldn't be surprised if I get a cheap, no-frills hotel close to the city with no luxury and a simple breakfast! The only MA I saw was the one who took care of breakfast. He was super friendly, attentive and occasionally saw his son off to school - a real family business, very nice and approachable. The hotel is perfect for a short stay. If you stay longer and want to be really comfortable, you can - instead of complaining here - rent a room directly in another category.

Greek restaurant with attached rooms. My room was very clean, crisp linens, large TV. The bathroom is a bit old, but still very clean, a lot of effort is put into it, you can tell :)A small highlight was the fancy faucet. ;-)The windows closed so tightly that nothing could be heard from the street. Mattress good (medium), dark heavy curtains.Very friendly employees.3 years ago I would certainly have paid 20 euros less for a room of this class, but that's ok with all the increased prices.I had to pay extra for the public underground car park, but that was okay with me.Great: The hotel has direct access to the underground car park, area red, staircase B.The breakfast was small but ok, my jam roll was delicious, there was fried and scrambled eggs.

One of the unfriendly hotels I have ever visited. We booked Saturday for Sunday and Monday. After we arrived on Sunday around 3 p.m. and the machine didn't work, we walked around the city until check-in time (5 p.m.). We came back around 5:30 p.m. and check-in wasn't open. We called the hotel and someone answered after a long ringing. We tried to explain to him politely that we had not received any information or code in any email. We also didn't know that Sunday was a day of rest and that the reception wasn't open at all. The innkeeper couldn't understand it and blamed us for being too stupid to read. He even started screaming on the phone. After he finally came down and let us check in, we tried to show him that we didn't get any information via email and didn't know anything. He denied that and immediately said without looking: "That can't be true! You haven't read." I didn't expect something so incapable of criticism from a grown man. When you get to the room, the fun really begins. It's dirty, there's mold in the bathroom and the neighbor outside can watch you sit on the pot through the bathroom window. We used our flip flops to avoid having to step on the floor and disinfected the toilet first. We also skipped showering because we were so disgusted. The towels were also all dirty. The only good thing about our room was the bed. That's the only thing that justifies the star in my review. Every time we left we stuck a long hair between the door to see if anyone would come in. Someone was inside once. But this person didn't do anything. Nothing was cleaner, beds weren't made, and luckily nothing was stolen. Then why do you go into a booked room??? Let's get to breakfast: it really is the cheapest of the cheapest. From frozen eggs to 25ct rolls and toppings that you would only buy yourself in exceptional cases. Being Greek they had olives and feta. That had to be special, right? It was the scariest thing I've ever tied. Pickled standard olives from the jar and dry feta. Besides the machine that spits out the worst cocoa in the world, there is nothing left. Do yourself a favor and don't book this hotel!

Yep...check-in at the machine is supposed to start at 2:30 p.m., but it doesn't work. The lady who helped us was very nice.We booked a double room with shared bathroom. The lock in our room had apparently been broken recently...furniture was getting old and had fallen into disrepair due to lack of maintenance. We don't know whether the TV works because the remote control was so dirty and sticky that we didn't want to use it anymore. The floor was clean, there were some stains on the walls and a cable was uninsulated on the wall. We had a small balcony, which was nice. Otherwise the rooms are very noisy, you have to check whether you can sleep there. We could hardly do it, but blaming the hotel for the noisy guests isn't fair. The breakfast was ok. Cocoa and juices are just typical cheap hotel products that are topped up with water and sugar. The selection is limited, but you can find something. Here too the staff was very nice. It's fine for one night, but if you want to stay here longer you should decide according to your requirements.
