We only stopped here for a beer with a very nice waiter. The restaurant itself is quite old and very nice.

In my opinion the best alternative to stay overnight in Selb and have a good meal beforehand. We went to Selb for our LFX's ice hockey game and stayed there for one night. The cuisine was very good, the rump steak was amazing and the breakfast was also pleasant. Very nice people there, absolutely recommended for one night.

Went to the parking space in Selb and stopped in for dinner. Super nice employee who had everything under control and a great overview despite the tables being full. The food was super tasty and the price/performance ratio was more than correct.

Goes better.First of all: the service was friendly and okay.But unfortunately the rest or the overall gastronomic package was not.We ordered schnitzel twice and of course we received them. But seriously: spice shakers simply belong on the table, especially since the schnitzels were not seasoned at all. And yes, maybe a little ketchup for the fries and vinegar and oil for the salad should be on the table on this occasion. We don't want to ask for it every time, at least not at these prices.Our conclusion: All in all, a great snack meal, but nothing more. Prices are not justified.

A very nice evening ended with a very good homemade burger.The service was great and everything was taken care of, even if there were a lot of people sitting at other tables, you were never left out.Gladly again 👍🏻

Since the Bräustübl restaurant in Selb is an established and well-known address, we also wanted to test after the change of ownership whether it had potential to become a new local regular. In short: unfortunately no. The Cordon Bleu for €22 was a child's portion size. I initially thought something went wrong when ordering. After the initial shock and the thought of asking the waitress about this "meat-saving dish", I didn't want to ruin the evening and hoped "small but nice" could balance out the quantity. Again: unfortunately no. There was hardly any taste of cheese and ham, and the breading was rather less crispy. The fries were clearly frozen goods, the side salad was partly from a can. Fresh cucumber, lettuce and a single slice of tomato were ok. My companion's deer burger was also less convincing in terms of taste, as juniper was the dominant to overpowering part. Billo tomato ketchup simply doesn't dialogue well with cranberries on a poorly coordinated ensemble of tomato, cucumber and charred bacon strips, especially not at a price of €15. Without supplements. I'm curious to see how many guests will visit the actually quite cozy beer garden in the future for more than just a cool drink and a snack. At least not us anymore. Too bad...

Great inn with very nice rooms. The food in the evening was really tasty 😋 and the breakfast was also very good. The service was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely stop there again. 👌
