Once and never again. Waited 1.5 hours for food. (There wasn't much going on.) The boss said: “It takes longer somewhere else,” dismissed. Neighboring table waited 2 hours.Gravy was terrible. It somehow tasted like ketchup and ready-made sauce. It had a consistency almost like pudding.Klosterbräu" and no own beer.We were just disappointed.

Always nice here. Brilliant, tasty cuisine in a pleasant atmosphere. Even if it sometimes takes a little longer, everything is freshly prepared. We always enjoy coming here to feast and look forward to the next time.

We were passing through and decided on this inn. The service was very friendly. The location and the ambience are very nice and clean. Unfortunately, the food itself was a disaster. The portion was more than measly for the price and was more like a snack bar than a restaurant. The menu said half a chicken, but only a small leg with 2 tablespoons of potato salad ended up on the plate. Unfortunately, the taste didn't really impress us and it was definitely just warmed up. Even the salad dressing had a bad aftertaste.The bottom line is that it's a shame because the ambience and location make it a really nice inn with a very nice beer garden.To claim that I ordered a half portion that was made especially for me is more than audacious because I neither ordered nor wanted a half portion. Not even mentioning that there was a whole one on the map. The claim seems to be more of an excuse or you can't read the reviews properly or take orders. If you order half a chicken you expect half and not a chicken leg. It's a shame I didn't take a photo of it, it's a real shame.

I eat in this restaurant very often and really enjoy it. The plate is filled enough to fill you up. It always tastes good, just as I imagine Franconian cuisine to be and the price is normal for 2024. I absolutely cannot understand some of the reviews about the quantity or taste and absolutely nothing is warmed up there. Everything is freshly prepared and that takes a bit of time, which you should bring with you when you go out to eat anyway.

We were in the beer garden today on Mother's Day, married couple and dog.The waitresses were friendly and attentive, but unfortunately the end of the day was somewhat marred by the food.We both ordered the “Wiener Style” schnitzel with fried potatoes and salad. The schnitzel meat was about 5 mm thick, coming from the deep fryer (confirmed by immediate inquiry). In my opinion, you can do something like that at a snack stand, but it's not actually possible in a traditional restaurant. When I asked the obligatory question after dinner whether everything was OK, I raised the problem again and the waitress also agreed with me that a breaded schnitzel with clarified butter was fried in the pan, which is how they normally prepare it, however If there were a lot of people (I couldn't tell personally, around 30 guests were visible) they would only have a chance with the deep fryer.The accompanying side salad was partly fresh, partly probably canned. The marinade tasted normal. As a conclusion:I wouldn't come back for this meal.What could have been done better:A simple apology, perhaps combined with a small dessert on the house (not absolutely necessary, but as a nice gesture) would have saved the evening. Unfortunately, we will not have fond memories of this inn (we are close here). It's a shame, there was actually enough potential, other dishes from the guests eating there looked really promising.

We went there for dinner yesterday and had made a reservation in advance.The waitresses weren't the most attentive, but they were friendly.Unfortunately, once we placed our order, we had to wait 2 hours for our food. 😔From conversations with other guests, we learned that it is normal to wait an hour and a half for food here.The food itself: The portions were plentiful, but unfortunately we weren't impressed with the taste.The service could also be better.Too bad

Had a very good home-style dinner.Coachman steak at its best.I think it's really good when the menu includes fried potatoes as a side dish, and not just cheap fries from the quick fryer or potato salad from the wholesale bucket.That's what convinced me here, finally "with fried potatoes".We were just passing through, but we'll definitely be happy to come back when we get the chance.
