A nice little campsite with very good restaurants; good food and friendly operators. Good value for money from the restaurant.The campsite is very quiet and the old castle offers a nice ambience.Unfortunately, the gray water system is difficult to use and unhygienic.The prices for the campsite are too high; among other things, a SHORT-TERM SUPPLEMENT (1-3 days) of €3.50 is charged.For what reason?In addition, you pay an additional €1 for the electricity connection in addition to a flat rate of €3.35.For what reason?The camper also pays a waste and energy flat rate of €0.50 per person.Why?€11.50 for a pitch and €9.50 per night per person in the low season in mid-October.Conclusion: Why make everything so complicated?A flat rate would make camping life easier. 😉

We were in transit.Called in the afternoon to see if a parking space for one night was possible.Very friendly reactionA small castle in a small village.You stand well. At these places, the staff makes sure that you don't have to disconnect for one night (if possible).Plumbing: Super class superior. Hotel qualityThe family runs a restaurant in the castle. We ate well.Bread service: you can order bread rolls (7.30).Great for a transfer, short stay in my opinion.By the way, it was very quiet at night.Price: An extra fee is charged for short stays. But especially considering the top plumbing, the price is okay.Good luck to the operator

We were passing through and found this lovely campsite. Very nice operators, sanitary facilities super clean, small playground for children. Really very nice...👍👍Right next to it is a restaurant with a vaulted cellar, great food and prices absolutely fair, what more could you want...two thumbs up...👍👍

Idyllic campsite in the courtyard of a castle with a large parking space. It's almost a shame just for transit. Very practical that we didn't have to take our WOWA away.The operator couple is very friendly, attentive and helpful (our power cable was too short, we were immediately loaned an extension free of charge). The sanitary facilities are newly renovated and clean.We can highly recommend the food in the castle and also the bread roll service in the morning. We think the overnight price is reasonable for the wonderful and quiet setting you get. You should also definitely try Issigau honey. Clear recommendation for this beautiful, loving campsite.

We were warmly welcomed. The campsite is very clean. Electricity, disposal and fresh water are all included in the price. The plots in the huge castle garden have a unique flair. There is a small lake that invites you to linger. Morning bread service. Delicious cakes in the afternoon and tasty dinner. Modern and very clean showers.

We haven't managed to stop on a castle yet. The operator is very friendly and very helpful. In our case, it was no problem to get a parking space while in transit! There are some shaded areas. It's quiet and cozy. The showers, toilets and service rooms are newly furnished and very clean! I can't judge the beer garden, kitchen and rooms for rent. Traveling in the camper and the food was prepared! We will go there again because it is so beautiful and there are supposed to be good routes on the bike! Thanks for the hospitality!🤗

A truly beautiful campsite on exceptional grounds nestled around Issigau Castle. Modern sanitary facilities, a quiet yet central location, a restaurant with a beer garden. Super nice and helpful operators! Service is still alive here! Absolutely recommended. I'll definitely come back.

We had a great stay.We arrived with a caravan and tent, everything worked smoothly.The place is very manageable with beautiful plots.We had breakfast in the restaurant and would book it again.We would be happy to do it again!

We were at the campsite for almost two weeks (with a tent and DB) and can therefore write a well-founded review. We liked the campsite, there are table tennis facilities, a reading room, a fitness area, a solarium and a washing machine (and dryer). The sanitary facilities make a solid impression; It's also nice that the use of the shower is included and that there is a lockable room with a sink for more privacy. We really liked our campsite and we even had a bench. There is also a very beautiful pond at the campsite with beautiful water lilies. The owner-operated restaurant is highly recommended, even for vegetarians. There are also very tasty homemade cakes. The WiFi is free and freely accessible, without password protection. Another note: If you rely on public transport, you should keep in mind that the bus connection in this village is not ideal (especially during the summer holidays); There are currently complications due to a road closure. The museums and sights in the area are only open very sporadically and reservations may be possible. In addition, there are few alternatives to the restaurant at the campsite in the surrounding area, but that's not a bad thing: all the food tastes very tasty! The iced coffee tastes particularly delicious and the grapefruit shandy is another highlight. Dogs are welcome - just not at breakfast. Dog owners please be a little considerate: There is a castle cat. Overall, recommended without reservations, we would be happy to come back.

Cozy little castle with a campsite on the grassy areas around the buildings. Fantastic service facilities and very friendly and service-minded welcome. It was clear from them that they actually enjoyed running the place.
