...a cozy and modern-rustic country guesthouse, located directly on the main road with little traffic.Our double room on the top floor (2nd floor), located on the east side of the small river Saxon Saale and with a view of the old trees, was well cooled and ventilated despite the high outside temperatures, also thanks to the large casement window in the dormer window.An existing fly screen kept the nighttime pests away from us. The external blinds on the windows also prevented the attic room from heating up during the day. We would have been happy to have a small fridge and a kettle in the room, but without these two standards we were well looked after. The house staff served us delicious food and were extremely friendly in the beer garden. We were also given well-chilled bottled beers from the brewery to our room afterwards.

Went there for dinner with our two children on Sunday lunchtime. There was a varied lunch menu and a children's menu. We enjoyed it very much. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

Stayed in the hotel for one night while traveling through Italy. We were immediately welcomed, the rooms were clean and nice and big (apartment). Food tastes super delicious (dinner and breakfast). Serviceman entertained us well and was always on the ball. We would come again.

Went there spontaneously for dinner last Sunday. Great staff, good food, it's hard to believe some of the recent bad reviews.Keep it up, we'll be happy to come back.

Very, very nice and child-loving hosts on our trip to the south! We really felt comfortable and enjoyed being guests.We had dinner and had schnitzel, cordon bleu and pork tomahawk twice and then breakfast in the morning. The food was very tasty and the breakfast was rich and had something for everyone.If I have one point of criticism, it is the beds, which are very soft or already worn out. But absolutely ok for one night in transit.Therefore and especially for the friendly and always approachable hosts 5/5!

Fantastic food, great service with nice staff. The bedrooms were clean and fresh and the beds soft. The food was also very reasonably priced! 5/5!

Unfortunately nothing special.The vegetarian dishes we ordered were not homemade, but purely frozen goods (falafel, jalapenos, mini Camenberts like from the supermarket, dry without sauces/dips/cranberry jam. However, the service staff were very committed and friendly.We had children with us, unfortunately there were no play areas for them in the beer garden.It's a shame, we came from Bamberg and from experience we expected more from a country inn. When we are in the area again, we will visit our tried and tested inns again.

My 70th birthday should be something special!It was ultimately a disaster! This has never happened to me as a guest who pays several thousand euros.The music was paid for until midnight and had to stop at 9:30 p.m. The justification was that I did not register my celebration as a “closed society”. Someone should have told me that before - I'm just the guest! So at 10 p.m. my guests (we had 9 rooms occupied) were supposed to be in bed. Sorry, what kind of business practices are these! From 10 p.m. there were no more drinks (water had been out since 9 p.m. anyway) without prior notice!The buffet was mediocre and (if you take into account the small children) at €65.00 p.p. overpriced and I reserve the right to take legal action.Ev. I also went into this celebration too naively. You don't expect such evil!I am writing this review so that other guests are warned,because this is not a house where the guest is king...I would also like to add that the service did its best - there is nothing to complain about.In what respects was something taken for granted?At 40 x 54.90 the children are also included in the calculation!The coffee p.p. It's a joke to mention this because we delivered the cakes and tarts ourselvesIt only became aggressive after you insulted us as carousers and summoned us to your restaurant that night, even though payment had been agreed with your waitress the next morning.My husband's email was sarcasm - you don't seriously think we'll stay in that inhospitable house again!Our solo entertainer was booked until midnight and I paid for it that way! Why do they say such things - it's a lie and you know it for sure!Why didn't you show up all evening? I asked the waitress several times to speak to them.However, you are not the boss at all, just the boss's wife.
