Beware of rip-offs – unprofessional and non-transparent!My daughter and I were given two double rooms, although one room would have been enough for both of us - or at least two single rooms. Instead we were charged for four business rooms, which is obviously wrong. We were charged rooms for four people even though there were only two of us. This is not only unsound, but simply outrageous!To make matters worse, the meal was priced for four people even though there were only two of us. This shows that there is clearly an attempt here to deliberately take advantage of guests.Even worse: Both debit card payments were apparently canceled, so I had to collect extra cash. Now we seriously ask ourselves whether there was deliberate manipulation here.This experience was negative in every way and I strongly advise against trusting this hotel. Warning to everyone: check the invoices carefully and be vigilant so that you don't get ripped off!

Update:Once again very satisfied, again it was brilliant that you can go swimming from 7 a.m. The dog was warmly welcomed.The food and breakfast are good to very good.Once again we met naturally friendly, helpful and competent people in the management, the restaurant and the service.---Not new or modern but clean, friendly, helpful and very dog friendly.Whether professional or private, there is something for every guest. The house is ideal for conferences or family reunions.In addition to the hotel and restaurant, there is a separate, small bar/pub area.The location is practical for hiking, swimming in the Rursee and for trips to the North Eifel. Larger cities such as Aachen, Cologne or Düsseldorf can be reached in 30 to 60 minutes.The rooms are spacious and clean, mostly with balconies. There is a well-kept, small but spacious sauna and swimming area.What's great is that the swimming area is available from 7am.Breakfast from 7 a.m. on weekdays is just as great.The breakfast buffet is sufficient and fresh, with a large selection of jams.The restaurant offers a choice of buffet or á la carte with a good selection of game, but also vegetarian options. There, as in the rest of the house, everyone was friendly, helpful, open and focused on the guests.Thank you for the pleasant stay, I would like to come back.

Today we had lunch outside with our son in the afternoon. We got the Sunday afternoon menu. There were fewer dishes to choose from. We still really liked the few dishes and everything we got, including the starter, was really delicious. I can highly recommend the venison goulash with spaetzle and the chocolate soufle. The food had something special and wasn't run of the mill. The service staff was also very friendly.

Good and pleasant hotel with atmospheric design, the operators are very friendly. The food in the evening was also very good, as was the breakfast. The surrounding area is also beautiful, the hotel is not far from the forest, so it is also great for walkers and nature lovers. We'll be back!

Went there on Sunday afternoon, July 28th, 2024. Drink yes, don't eat, as it's a closed society. Sitting perhaps, but not here and not there either. Difficult. We didn't ask again whether breathing and going to the toilet was still possible or permitted. Not a place worth going.

Hotel conveniently located for starting walks and excursions. Spacious and clean bedrooms. Extensive breakfast buffet and in the evening a variety of buffet or menu and an extensive salad bar. Food was of good quality and more than enough. Friendly staff.

We used this hotel for 2 nights for a stay with a travel ring for a concert in Maastrich. Checking in the travel group was quick and professional. The helpfulness of the staff, especially the boss, is also exemplary. She wanted to drive herself on Saturday and fill an emergency prescription from my wife at a pharmacy. It's rare to see something like that these days. Big praise for this. She also said goodbye to the group in person. So, great.The ambience is a mix of new and 70s. But the mix is very good. Who can still remember the good old payphones? The second generation of it is still hanging on the wall. DM in and off we went. Today it's just decoration, but nice to look at.

So for me it's not worth 4 stars.At breakfast there were terrible baked rolls, local honey was sold at the reception and at breakfast there was the cheapest honey and nut nougat cream, the rooms were spacious but the bathroom was just dingy, dirty joints and everything was getting old.For me the hotel deserves a maximum of 2 stars.Price performance far too expensive.

I attended a 3-day seminar there and felt very well looked after from the first moment. The service staff responded to my wishes and allergies. The rooms are well maintained, well equipped and the beds are comfortable.The hotel also offers a swimming pool with a sauna to relax in.All in all, I was extremely satisfied with the stay.Keep it up.

The hotel is not the most modern, but the rooms are spacious and very clean.The staff were not only friendly but warm throughout. Whenever you had a question or request it was taken care of immediately.Breakfast and dinner in buffet form were varied and tasted good.A small but sufficient sauna area and a small swimming pool round off the relaxing weekend stay.
