Nice quiet village. Good hotel with good breakfast. Parking lot is a bit unclear. Male owners or employees are very likely to act like this. However, the woman is super sweet and helpful.

We spent a night in the "eternal lamp" and felt very comfortable there. The hotel is located in an old building that is rustic and cozy. The room was simple but well-appointed with comfortable beds and an updated bathroom with a walk-in shower. The overnight stay included a rich breakfast, which is served at the table and can be supplemented with egg dishes and various coffee/tea specialties upon request - the fact that there is no breakfast buffet contributes greatly to the cozy, relaxed atmosphere in my opinion. Unfortunately we didn't have the opportunity to eat in the restaurant, but we'll be happy to do so on a future visit.

We had arranged to meet friends for dinner. Great atmosphere, delicious food. The service is particularly noteworthy. Very attentive, but not annoying. When asked whether we would pay together or separately, we replied that we would sort it out ourselves at the table. Lo and behold, we received separate invoices that contained no errors. Top.

Nice restaurant in Nideggen. The food is very tasty. Larger groups are also served quickly.Disadvantage: Dogs are not allowed. But that can certainly be changed.

We have eaten at this restaurant several times in the past. Unfortunately, we found that the quality and preparation of the food had deteriorated. In addition, children do not seem to be welcome guests at the restaurant. It is advertised that you can bring children and small children with you and that this is not a problem, but unfortunately we found that both waiters, who were already annoyed by our child after 15 minutes, did not communicate this properly with us. I would therefore advise families with children under 5 years not to eat here.

It's not just great nature that awaits you in the Eifel. The palate is not neglected either. Rarely found such value for money. Great cuisine.

We didn't arrive here until 10:30 PM but the owner was kind enough to wait for us. Very warm and friendly welcome. This is a very characteristic hotel with lots of decoration making it a very homely hotel. …

If you want to go to the lake, you should also look for accommodation in the area. The hotels on the lake are very expensive because you pay for the location and not for the quality of the house. We spent two nights on worn-out mattresses in a horribly old-fashioned room. The eternal lamp (10 minutes to the reservoir) is located at the beginning of the tranquil, historic old town of Nideggen. In addition to a great castle, you can discover impressive rock formations with nests of eagles and owls. There is high quality food in the city as well as in the hotel. The rooms are beautifully and lovingly furnished, the breakfast is delicious and individual requests are catered for (fruit salad, etc.). The hosts are very friendly and you can feel very comfortable. In addition, I have never experienced such moderate and flexible check-out times. The beautiful river Rur is located in the valley. Next time I would book here and go to the lake by bus or car. Thank you very much.
