The staff seemed overwhelmed and unable to cope with the influx of guests.Our cake was okay, the waffles were too dark, hard and not edible. Price-performance not consistent.But the area/location is very nice.

We were received enthusiastically and had a spacious apartment for 5 people. Looked great with excellent beds, large bathroom and complete kitchen. Breakfast was well prepared and dinner was also superb. Too bad there was no separate toilet but it was in the bathroom.Location is full of nature with beautiful views.

The location is beautiful, from the balcony we looked out on a group of cows with calves, there were sometimes horses, chickens were walking and you could hear the Ruhr flowing. The apartment exceeded our expectations: everything was neat and clean and seemed new, there was a dishwasher, a large fridge with freezer and everything had been thought of, such as extra candles and coffee filters for the coffee maker. The staff was very friendly and you could sit outside. The breakfast is also nicely arranged, everything is put on the table in front of you instead of a running buffet. We were not bothered by it ourselves, we see it more as 'part of the experience', but a train passes every half hour from 5:00 am to 11:00 pm and honks at a crossing without barriers. The restaurant closes quite early, so we were able to order a last beer until 9:00 PM. Maybe the restaurant is open longer in high season when there are more people? All in all a great experience, highly recommended.

Really very good food. Had a Jägerschnitzel with fries and salad. The salad was crisp and fresh. The mushroom sauce and the schnitzel were homemade and the fries came really hot from the deep fryer. I thought the service was great because you always got fries and a vegetable side dish. This way everyone is guaranteed to be full. Despite our large group, the conditions were very nice and accommodating.

You should definitely eat here at least once. A beautiful place in the middle of the beautiful Eifel.

Paid over 19 euros for a flattened Jägerschnitzel with homemade sauce (delicious), dry, almost cold fries and salad. For more stars, at least the fries would have to be perfect. Maybe it was the robot waiter. But that shouldn't happen at that price.I would give the ambience 4 stars. Especially because of the location. Gut Kallerbend is ideal for the start or end of a beautiful hike.

Cozy restaurant on the Rur. Outdoor terrace facing the surrounding meadows. You can stay here very well when the weather is good.We always come to this restaurant and can recommend it. This is delicious and rich. The daily menus are very good.The estate also offers holiday apartments, but we cannot rate them.
