Bad Sonnenland - Ferienpark mit Campingplatz

Due to its location between Moritzburg and Dresden, it is a good place for trips to both historical places.Since the campsite is quite large, there can be a bit of hustle and bustle here and there.Water and electricity are available in many places on the siteWhen I visited, the sanitary facilities weren't quite finished on the outside, but the inside was already fully usable and completely new.There are many options here: swimming in the lake, canoeing, table tennis, volleyball and much more.

We were there for a week in the family bungalow, the space in front of the house was optimal and sufficient, behind the house there would have been a terrace, but it was poorly ventilated due to the forest, which isn't bad in and of itself, but the roof of it needed to be cleaned had.The apartment had only been superficially wiped before arrival.There were cobwebs and dead flies all around the windows.The bathroom was spacious but the shower wasn't leaky and was completely moldy along the edge, unfortunately a no go if you're there with children.The swimming lake was large and our children (7.13) could almost walk through it, but unfortunately the sandy beach was not properly maintained and there was no information on site or on the website about the danger of algae.Unfortunately, the Sewterrasse is always closed unless you have a larger event then it is open, otherwise there is only one snack bar that is only open on weekend evenings.On the whole you can say it is still in the same condition as it was in the former GDR era.We won't be coming over again because the price/performance ratio wasn't right for a week (7 nights).

Rooms are getting old, reception with very friendly service.

We had a very pleasant stay in Bad Sonnenland. Large camping meadows with free choice of space and idyllic area. Everything was very satisfactory, especially the courteous staff. My children were blown away by the child-friendly atmosphere at the campsite (the welcome sweets from the young gentleman at reception helped). Gladly again at any time!

It is perfect for families with children, couples, friends and large groups. Quiet, comfortable. The reception staff is friendly. Not annoying. The house has everything you need.There is a playground and a swimming lake on site. You can rent a boat and go boating.

Actually a spontaneous vacation with the destination Dresden and the surrounding area. Contact via website, received positive feedback very quickly and booked. We had a good journey, checked in quickly and were able to choose a parking space. Water view, large complex surrounded by nature and trees, quiet, clean, new washing areas, huge playground, seating. The bread roll service worked great, canoe rental and much more. The staff friendly and helpful. Thanks for that! Unfortunately there was blue-green algae in the Dippelstorf pond, but we still enjoyed the time. There is no shortage of activities, Moritzburg can be reached on foot or by bus. We'd love to come back!

Where do I begin? Actually a nice campsite though.The restaurant has not existed since Corona and the lake is silted up and has blue auks. The houses are in a GDR condition. I don't think you should advertise something that unfortunately doesn't exist. A pity

A nice campsite if it weren't for the other guests.The reception and camping shop are bright, clean and well stocked. In addition to food, there are also some camping supplies, such as drinking bottles, baseball caps, etc. The breakfast rolls are delicious, I particularly recommend the pudding roll, which can easily be shared, so don't be put off by the 2 euros.The sanitary facilities are designed in the early 2000s, but everything works and is clean.The playground is more suitable for children up to preschool age, but the older ones got their money's worth on the zip line.Dogs are allowed and there is a waste bag dispenser at the entrance.The lake, which has extremely low water at the moment, is clean but somewhat weedy. You can bring your own boat or rent one.From the loungers on the beach you can watch the Lößnitz dachshund as it drives over the dam.So much for the nice things.Now to the unpleasant experiences.We stood in area S (which is right next to the lake, but the lake cannot be reached from there because reeds grow there).In our area and in the area opposite, there were almost exclusively families. Behind our area there was another area for tents and caravans. On Friday night there was very loud music playing and shouting. At 3:30 a.m. there was finally peace.The next day a wedding and a birthday were to be celebrated at the lake. We were warned at reception that it could get louder. Neither celebration could be heard, but the guests in the back area were loud again.At dinner time, the car's spinning tires kicked up so much dust on the short stretch of gravel that our food turned completely gray.Then, shortly before midnight, the guests from the area ran around our tents to shout: "We just wanted to quickly say goodnight."Again music was played all night long and shouted. From the crying from the neighboring tents, I gather that my child wasn't the only one woken up. The mood was the same the next morning and the recovery was gone.At the reception they wanted to shift the volume to the wedding party, but they were at the other end of the square. I was then told that they couldn't change it because there was no staff on site at night.From talking to other guests who rented a holiday home further ahead, I learned that it was similarly noisy there.It's a shame, it's a nice place, but I won't come back if I can't be sure that I'll get some sleep.

Very nice staff, very nice location, lots of peace and quiet. Unfortunately, the sanitary buildings are currently being renovated, containers are available and the lake should unfortunately not be used for swimming. Still a place of relaxation
