I stayed at the Hotel Haus Löwe in Frechen for two days on business during a trade fair in Cologne and can only warmly recommend it. The staff - especially the nice couple who owned it - were incredibly helpful and did everything they could to make me feel completely comfortable.The rooms were sparkling clean and cozy, ideal for relaxing after a long day. The breakfast was also great, with a wide selection so everyone is guaranteed to find something for themselves.Particularly practical: the train station is about 900 meters walk from the hotel, but the owner couple kindly dropped me there by car every morning - a great service that made my stay even more pleasant. From there you can reach Cologne Central Station in about 20 minutes without changing trains.I also followed the owner's recommendation and ate in the "Altes Brauhaus Königsdorf" restaurant about 1 kilometer away. The atmosphere there was very cozy and the food was simply delicious – a perfect recommendation after a busy day at the trade fair!I will definitely come back and am already looking forward to my next stay.

I have never been welcomed so warmly. As soon as I parked the car, the owner came up to me, beaming with joy, and gave me an extremely friendly welcome.The house is very cute, very tastefully decorated. Something I've never had before, drinks and sweets were free. The main thing is that you feel comfortable. At breakfast you were greeted by name. The buffet was very diverse. I am a real fan of this house and will be happy to come back.

Simply great. Stylishly furnished rooms. Everything very new. No stress when you arrive if it gets late, as there is a key safe. In a calm neighborhood. Everything is available for breakfast. I just felt comfortable.

As part of Euro 2024, I attended a game of the CH national team in Cologne. I was a guest at Haus Löwe for two nights. If you are looking for a place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the big city and want to create a counterpoint to the non-existent charm of a self-service hotel, this is the right place for you. Personal contact from the owner is just as important here as the varied and lovingly prepared breakfast. The room was simple but functionally furnished. All in all, a very good choice.

We took a detour to Haus Löwe from our Erft bike tour. The little detour was very worth it. The boss is a very warm, lovable woman who is very attentive and conjures up a great breakfast that leaves nothing to be desired.

Very good, family-run hotel. An excellent breakfast that is beyond comparison, as well as drinks in a freely accessible drinks fridge, free of charge for guests. Very well maintained and very clean rooms. Extremely friendly hoteliers. Only 14 km from downtown Cologne. In the middle of the countryside and a quarter of an hour away from Cologne main station by S-Bahn. Can be done in just over half an hour by bike.A real insider tip!!!!!

A hotel to feel good with style, ambience and heart. A hotel manager who loves and lives service. Sweet and salty foods as well as free drinks in the refrigerator are available to our guests. The rooms are lovingly and stylishly designed. Here too there are small gifts for the guests. I immediately felt comfortable. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. The food/drinks are very diverse and well prepared. 10 minutes on foot from the Frechen-Königsdorf S-Bahn. Located very close to a beautiful rapeseed field and in a quiet residential area. I would be happy to come back, I would definitely recommend Ms. Langen and her team and thank you for the great hospitality and a hotel with heart, love and soul!

I was there with my partner for a few days. We really liked the room because it was very lovingly and stylishly furnished. The hostess was also very friendly and you felt very welcome. Breakfast was another 10 out of 10. We have never had such delicious scrambled eggs. Gladly again! 😊
