Instead of the double bed I had booked, I only found two uncomfortable single beds, only one of which had a blanket and pillow.Otherwise the room was very ugly and bare, the kitchen was not properly equipped and the bathrooms were not cleaned properly.When I asked for a second blanket, I was accused of having a guest there. I explained that my guest was a friend who lives in Berlin and didn't stay with me. The second blanket was refused.On the second night my friend stayed with me and before I even got up I was called a liar and told to immediately pay the extra charge for all three nights otherwise I would have to leave the house.I immediately admitted that my guest was spending the second night with me, but I didn't want to stay in the hotel anymore and left the house.I asked for a refund for the missed night, provided I paid the extra charge for one night, as would have been fair.They then unkindly promised to send me the invoice along with the camera recordings... Whatever that meant.Last but not least, I had forgotten my music box in the room and asked to check if it was still there, which was ignored.After several messages were ignored and I didn't think the matter had been resolved, I called the hostel.After a short unfriendly discussion I was pushed away.I've really never experienced anything like this before. Especially the mention of the camera recordings, which to me was clearly meant as a threat...

Decent pension for the price. Room is great, bathroom is meh. Really low water pressure in the sink and the shower temperature fluctuates between too hot and too cold even when kept steady. So it’s really hard to shower without getting cold or burned and you have to adjust it constantly.

It has a good location, just 5min. walking for urban (underground) surrounded of restaurants and bars. I recomend a Greek restaurant

Not suggested. They give you wrong address. It is not the address written on the booking.com. It is another address/building. Moreover, customer service is very bad. They don’t help you

Unfortunately, I was staying there for work in house 2, which was in a prefabricated housing estate. My room used to be a kitchen. Unfortunately it is not comparable to the ads, see photos.

if i could put 0 star i would. despite the restrictions that prevent me from traveling. the establishment does not want to allow me to change the date or even a credit note. establishment to avoid absolutely

I was there with my 5 month old daughter and my husband.First of all, there was no baby cot for her despite asking, which means our daughter had to sleep with us in our SINGLE BED (we had booked a double bed) there is no mention of cleanliness here. Immediately after checking in we saw dead flies etc. in the room and the bed linen not fresh either.We booked once and the cleaning lady wasn't in our room to clean once (wow she emptied the overflowing diaper bin after 3 days) so never again!

I'm puzzled how to review this place. It has it pros and cons, and sadly, cons are bigger. You get basic room with shared bathroom and both are good value for money, but:Cons: Soundproofing is nonexistent. If there are rude guests, you will hear everything and they might keep waking you up by slamming the doors. Pillows were so bad that I had to fold it 4 times and even then it was very uncomfortable to sleep on them.Pros: Price was nice, its clean and only 2 stops from Alexanderplatz. Location in general was great!I would give this place solid 4 stars if they fixed soundproofing and pillows.

The room we got was clean and so were the bathrooms and luckily not many ppl were there so no wait for the bathrooms (we stayed sun into mon). The heater worked really good and you had large windows if you wanted some air. Check in was ok. Staff was not accommodating. Accidentally booked a night, messaged them right away to cancel, and wouldn't refund it, but allowed me to change dates. Unfortunately, there were no rooms available on the weekends for the entire year and the owners would not make any exceptions. Nice place to stay, but don't expect accomdating hosts!

Positive:- Exactly as described- Price/performance OK.- A relatively large room for the very low price.- Room itself well furnished.- Shower and toilet room WAS MODERNIZED.- Quiet locationNegative:- It was a bit unusual because the hotel seems to have converted a shared apartment into a neighboring apartment building (prefabricated building) on the ground floor. On the other hand, it's interesting to see what life is like in a shared apartment in Berlin.- There is no "Do Not Disturb" sign in the apartment room. The cleaning starts at around 9am. Maybe you could ask the plasters to clean later, but I haven't tried it.- The apartment was only cleaned and cleared and towels changed every 2 days. But it was also on the room sign.- Corners and edges not particularly clean.- 2 duvets had large brown stains. Either it's Shocko or Chocolate...-Bath towels and hand towels smelled like urine. I know that there are detergents that smell like that, but it could actually be urine...- Closet too few hangers.- Reception and opening times OK, no 24/24.Conclusion: Conditionally recommended, and only because of the very low price.
