Rooms are clean. And spacious. Large bathrooms.Very steep stairs as a woman traveling alone, it was absurd to come down the stairs with her suitcase. When I asked for someone to come and help, I was refused.

Small and inexpensive hotel without breakfast (shortage of staff), but with a minibar. There are good bakeries and cafes to choose from nearby, so that's not a problem. Quiet location, nice neighborhood, nice view from the large window of the courtyards and gardens. The house is noisy, neighbors upstairs in the room and in the hallway could be heard easily. Steep stairs! In front of the house there is a veranda with seating. Without reception. When you arrive you just have to ring the bell and you will be let in. Found a flexible solution for my luggage so that I could leave it in the room after checkout. Only public parking in the small streets around the hotel. If necessary, parking at the Weser Stadium. No safe place to store our bikes. We were offered the hotel's veranda (also outside, with no attachment option). But we found an even better solution :) The hotel is recommended for a short trip to Bremen for 1-2 nights!

The price-performance ratio was absolutely fine. We arrived in the evening and left again in the morning.We didn't meet any staff during that time, but we found out the most important things via the doorbell.The room facilities were sufficient and clean.Unfortunately, the bathroom was a bit musty (damp and stuffy air) upon arrival, using the bathroom didn't improve the quality and the ventilation didn't really help either.Otherwise we felt comfortable! :)

Unfortunately there was no breakfast, the location is great, very quiet. Easily accessible by public transport. Towels were changed after just one night, even though they were still hanging on the hook.

Very hard-working staff. Had to book the room at short notice, everything worked out great. The pizza from Finepizza is the best I have ever eaten. And great nice salespeople at StarkbÀcker. Quiet house but still centrally located. Good location for the Mitte Clinic. I parked at Brepark at the clinic for a fee.Good price-performance ratio.

Unfortunately the description does not correspond to what I found. Maybe it was once a nice little hotel, but that must have been a long time ago. The facade is no longer fresh, the flower pots in front of the house are empty. There are several clocks hanging in the entrance area, none of which work, the "pub" is closed and there is no breakfast buffet. There is also no reception, so there is no contact person. It would also make sense to mention that the stairs are very, very steep and a room on the 2nd floor with a suitcase is a bit of a hassle. My room faced the back, which was pleasant (except for the circular saw in the neighborhood), and I also liked the dark pink curtain fabric (it would be good to wash it). Unfortunately, the top hinge of the window was broken, so you couldn't open it completely (without running the risk of being killed by it). The bed was a cheap frame and squeaked when turned over. Not to be compared with the room in the photo gallery. The view of all the backyards and gardens is very nice, as long as you don't look down, at a dirty, sad terrace with dried up flower pots and a neglected garden...surely that was a nice place to stay...in earlier times. The bathroom is tiny and in need of renovation. (80s "Charm"). The room is very noisy because the door is not sealed (slit at the bottom) and you can hear everything in the hallway. It is also right next to the "laundry room", i.e. washing machine and dryer, not a nice noise in the morning either. Cleanliness was somewhat okay. Overall, just not what the website promises. Check-in was easy, after calling (I didn't arrive until 11 p.m.) and the lady was very friendly, hence 2 stars.

Very friendly and courteous staff. A beautiful, bright single room quietly located at the back. Despite its central location, the hotel is in a quiet location. I slept very well. Decent mattress, large shower, the bathroom is big enough for a single person. Fridge, large wardrobe, kettle with tea and instant coffee in the room, sugar etc. The buffet-style breakfast is exceptionally complete and extensive of good quality. The spacious breakfast room with adjoining terrace makes a good impression. I felt very comfortable there for the two nights and there was nothing to complain about. The closed parking lot behind the hotel is certainly another advantage.Of course it's not a five star hotel for this price. But I didn't expect that either. The somewhat shabby surroundings towards the main train station are certainly not the fault of the hotel and unfortunately are now almost normal in capital cities.

Individual room and design. Definitely not mainstream. More alternative. Breakfast only if desired. No buffet. Service has to buy the rolls individually from the bakery. Definitely not worth the description hotel. But friendly staff.Why the owner is now complaining about ME is a mystery to me. I still gave it two stars, even though it should actually be zero. It was simply the wrong hotel for us, as we unfortunately don't like "alternatives".But it's a shame how some negative criticism is handled here. My rating wasn't that bad. However, the owner apparently cannot handle criticism at all and only expects and demands praise. A pity. Apparently everyone must think he's great. I just didn't realize that only five star reviews are allowed here.But I forgot to mention something praiseworthy and would like to do it again: the rooms and bathrooms are very clean
