Very nice facility. Quiet, fireplace, close to the town of Regen, which offers everything from a market on the market square to a sports shop. Above all, helpful people.We were positively impressed by the Sporthaus Bauer, the Hinhart restaurant, the Gasthof zur Weißensteiner Alm, the Arber, Schwellhäusl and the Schnirle bakery.Perfect vacation for families and couples. Everyone really gets their money's worth there.

I was there with a group of friends.The houses are beautiful but also seem very old.Heating with a fireplace or electric heater is not cheap.The beds were okay, but the mattresses were terribly soft and you could feel the springs underneath you.. (why they still give out bed sheets instead of fitted sheets is also a mystery to me..)The rest of the house is OK. but you shouldn't expect too much.The sauna was very nice and really invited you to linger! - The light in the sauna, which constantly flickered, made it more inviting to leave because it ruined the relaxed atmosphere.So if you want to have a relaxing vacation with the family or something similar, you can get your money's worth here.When it rains and there are few opportunities to get out of the hut, it gets very, very boring at some point😅.So look for activities!

We had a completely outdated, run-down and cold holiday home with electric heating (house number 99). Additional costs are billed separately, linen package for €45, in exchange for you being allowed to make the beds yourself. Overall completely overpriced.

A beautiful place with a beautiful environment. There is a lot to do within a 30 minute drive. The furnishings of the house were quite ok. Sufficient for us. What wasn't so nice were the parking spaces, as there is only 1 parking space available for each house. It would be sufficient if these were provided with the house number. So you stood somewhere different every time. If there were several cars per house, they should park on the side of the road, which shouldn't be a problem. But there were always those who didn't take that into account.Furthermore, the additional costs were settled at the end, which was actually no problem. Here the electricity and water were billed and paid for the day before, before departure. This means that in the end you have paid for a partial electricity/water from the previous tenant and you don't know exactly what the tenant then used. The additional costs, especially for electricity since they are night storage heaters, were over €100 for 7 days and we barely had the heating on. And that's a lot. However, the problem is known and nothing will be changed.We would actually want to go there again, but only if something changes in that regard. Otherwise, for the total price (rent + additional costs) you can look for something else, maybe something better.

We had a lot of bad luck with House 54... every door didn't close properly and squeaked endlessly... a lot of things were dirty or dingy... but the worst was the stove, one of the plates was broken and the power kept going out Hewn, they said it, they just said it's just an old house, but nothing changed. Once I had fries in the oven for 1 1/2 hours, only the outer ones were ready.... then I paid an additional €130 in additional costs and didn't even get anything reimbursed... so never again and I won't recommend it to anyone. ...

Super great vacation possible. This is the second time we have been here and we are still always surprised. A very nice and quiet area. Very family friendly. There is also a playground for small children adjacent to the Am Wald holiday village. The holiday home we had was really great. The price is really adjusted. And lying around you can get anywhere relatively quickly by car. Again any time.

Really relaxed resort with a somewhat remote location. Furnishings relatively old fashioned.Negatives:-communal garbage cans extremely full-The exclusive WiFi offer is a rip-off and a jokeA maximum of 1 phone can be registered30-40 € for 2 weeksNot even possible to surf the Internet with it, let alone download or watch YouTube on the lowest quality (144p)To watch. For families with children and young people, you should be prepared and buy your own flat rate elsewhere.

Sorry, I can't recommend this holiday village. The houses were beautiful to look at, but once inside my opinion changed. There were cobwebs hanging in the bedroom and especially over the terraces.All the rooms were cold. Plus point: the bathroom was large and the shower cabin. The pillows were in need of replacing. The carpet in the living room also needs replacing, it is dirty. There is no laundry, you must ask to use the machine behind the reception which has limited hours.The town of Regen had little to offer, but the bus and train service was good. There is no connection between Regen and the holiday village, you need a car or walk. Taxi was 12€ from the centre to the village. If you want to hire a cycle you must go to Bodenmais.
