You can get a good insight into farm life.The prices in the farm cafe and farm shop are quite impressive, e.g. a cup of (filter) coffee and a piece of cake for just under EUR 9, Kölsch for EUR 4.50 or a jar of jam from the farm shop for EUR 5 are already “ambitious”.Unfortunately, the jar of jam that we bought yesterday and opened today was moldy.Unfortunately, the friendliness of the staff was not very pronounced and they seemed a bit overwhelmed.

With good leadership it would have incredible potential...but unfortunately not like that! I only want to rate the apartment stay here:If the final cleaning is charged at €50, you also expect a clean apartment at the beginning. We were welcomed by the cleaning lady, something we have never experienced before. There were toothpaste residue and limescale stains in the sink. The silicone joints in the shower area were moldy. There were opened shower gels, shampoos and dusty contact lens products by the bathtub. In one bedroom there was an old fitted sheet next to the bed, in the other there was an open and moldy coffee drink. In addition, at the beginning we had to remove numerous harvestmen and spider webs. We have farm experience and know that insects are normal there. But you don't want to see that in your apartment when you move in! In addition, the cooking area (especially in the crack under the oven) was sticky and dirty. We once had to move the sofa because a toy rolled under it. We would rather not have done that. The sofa had probably not been moved or swept underneath in a very long time. In addition to dust and batteries, we also found dead silverfish. Unfortunately, we found the live silverfish in the area of the kitchenette and the bedroom.After complaining, we were given half of the final cleaning fee. We asked to be allowed to leave a day earlier, but we were still charged for this with reference to the booking conditions. You can do it like that. Communication took place exclusively via an office worker. Although we asked, the operator obviously didn't feel the need to contact us personally. Clever move to send an employee who was not authorized to make decisions to the complainants. This is how you actually earn the title of Entrepreneur of the Year ;).They also advertise a petting zoo and rabbits on the farm (signage in front and information folder in the apartment). When we asked the butcher on staff where the rabbits were for which, according to the folder, we were supposed to collect the lettuce, he replied that he hadn't seen any rabbits for three years.I would like to expressly only rate the apartment here. Although we also noticed other things in the cafe and around the yard (i.e. disorder and friendliness), I won't talk about that here. At least the animals seemed to be doing well.Unfortunately, we found the farm to be very impersonal and not particularly well maintained. The Schiefelbusch company obviously has different priorities than its holiday guests. Very, very unfortunate. Unfortunately we cannot recommend this...2 stars deducted because of the cleanliness and 2 stars deducted because of the almost outrageous manner!!!If you had sought a personal conversation with us, I would have saved myself this review.

The farm market has been an integral part of my shopping for years. I particularly appreciate the freshness and quality of the products you find here. The milk, eggs, fruit, vegetables and butter are always excellent and come directly from the farm. It's a good feeling to know where the food comes from.What makes the market particularly special is the possibility of shopping on Sundays too. Not only is this practical, but it also gives me the opportunity to start the day in a relaxed atmosphere on the farm. The friendly and familiar atmosphere makes shopping here a real experience.This market is an absolute recommendation for anyone who values regional and fresh products!

The farm is 100% worth a visit👏😉, especially with children🥰!!! Geese, pigs, turkeys and turkeys, cows and calves, chickens, beekeeping, a play barn with a children's fleet behind it😍👍, a farm shop, a farm cafe with indoor and outdoor areas😎, 2 holiday apartments for rent... all in all a great one Experience and worth a trip😉❗️ And the whole thing is free of charge👍!!! In the middle of corn fields and pure nature🌳🦋🐦!!! It's best on weekdays, as Sundays are very crowded...(07/28/2024)

Rating for the cake only (1/5 stars): Cakes look pretty good, but are incredibly expensive. The award is so terribly bad that the court shouldn't be surprised that the guests here are - rightly so in my opinion - annoyed about it. An otherwise very good experience (4/5 stars) is spoiled here. A pity.

I got the impression that there's a lot of marketing going on here that ultimately can't keep the promises in reality.For example, I was interested in the sausage products from the farm shop, but discovered that they were full of E-ingredients and glutamate as a flavor enhancer. Anyone who really works traditionally and values quality and health would simply not use such additives!Basically, I think it's great that the company can be visited openly and you can enter the farm freely without any entry measures.In the café I paid €4 for a piece of cheese and rhubarb cake. If you consider that this results in a turnover of 40-50€ for a whole cake, anyone who has ever baked a cake knows what is left over at the end. It's not something that can only be experienced in this cafe at this time. However, it can be seen that the rising price spiral is being followed here.

We stopped into the cafe and found the selection of cakes and tarts convincing. However, we didn't have that much cash with us and so didn't want to spend that much. A piece of cake and a cup of filter coffee: 9.30 euros!!! We were amazed. Charges are based on cover, which is not communicated. The piece of Donauwelle cost the equivalent of around 6+ euros. We won't be coming back.
