Full Fail - room booked for 2 days - booking easy - paid in advance - people friendly - left the hotel after the first night - impossible to sleep - loud, bed defective, smell of fish in all variations even when airing - canceled birthday party and went home - Contact via email was not possible for 4 days afterwards - customer service was a smooth 6-!! - 2nd day written off as a “donation” - unforgettable WE - Unfortunately NEVER AGAIN!!

Had dinner in the restaurant yesterday. The service is very friendly and quick. Food came very quickly. The grill fish pan is recommended and the fried fish too. The room we booked was for 4 people and served as accommodation for our bike tour. It consisted of two rooms with double beds and a small toilet with shower. The bedrooms were acceptable and spacious, but that couldn't be said about the toilet/shower. This space really needs to be enlarged. We were able to book breakfast for €15, which was really worth it. Important...We were able to store our bikes safely and covered in a garage.

We booked the hotel as a stopover because it is close to the motorway, but not directly on it. We were very satisfied, first of all we were able to park our trailer easily (free of charge) and even drive forward again! The room was completely newly furnished and the bathroom was also new and everything was very clean. We slept well. There was even a drink voucher for the restaurant. There we ate delicious fish, real herring and juicy fried cod fillet. And the bottle of Lugana went perfectly with it. The service was very attentive.The fish shop next door with its own smokehouse also has a great selection. We would like to have one of these near our home. The breakfast was actually far too cheap for what was on offer: several types of salmon, fish salads, pieces of cheese to cut off, of course cold cuts and even cherries! We will definitely take a break there again.

The hotel is close to the motorway and looks nice from the outside. There are a few parking spaces available. The reception was very friendly. The rooms themselves are past their best and the bathrooms are from the 70s. But everything was neat and clean. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast at P12.50 was unbeatable. There were fresh rolls, butter, margarine, orange juice, coffee, sausage, cheese, salmon, jam, etc. Day Restaurant is attractively decorated. Unfortunately we didn't manage to eat here in 2 nights. Overall nice here and recommended

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights because it was well connected to the motorway and was close to Wuppertal.The staff was friendly and the breakfast was really good if you like salmon, which is smoked in the house, was super tasty and well priced at 12.50 per person per night.The room was negative. I will say that the furniture was old but well maintained and clean. The room could also use a new coat of paint and a socket by the bedside table would be great.The windows were new and the man had heard nothing from the street.What is also practical is that you can charge your electric car for a fee of 20 💶.At first I only wanted to give it 3 stars but there was also a voucher for a drink so I gave it 4 stars.We would like to come back for breakfast.

We were in the restaurant and loved it. The service was quick, nice and friendly.Fish and sushi were very good.The only drawback:The clothes are right after the visit, as if you had been in the kitchen for hours.

The furniture in the room is very, very old, the toilet and shower were in the room, but they were installed later, it's really cramped and you can also smell the old pipes. The sink is right in the room. Unfortunately, the whole house stinks of fish. From Thursday to Including Tuesday morning, the room, toilet was not cleaned, no garbage was emptied and no toilet paper was brought in. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to find a contact person there. Due to the room renovations in the house, there is noise all day long. The location is easy to reach but Due to the location on a main road and very close to the motorway, it is also very loud at night.

Ate and enjoyed very tasty fish, there is a deduction for the side dishes... Vegetable rice actually had 1 piece of pepper about 0.5x0.5cm...and the portion sizes of the side dishes were way too small. Conclusion, great fish, you can save on the side dishes, because we left hungry and with a bill of just under €40 for 2 people... we won't be coming back...

Visiting friend in Wuppertal they treated me to this Japanese restaurant. Prompt service and excellent Sushi/Sashimi. Attractive cod-industrial decor. We went with the “Ship” for four people and it was spot on. Option to choose fish from next door restaurant. Really a destination!

The restaurant and hotel is simply great in the rooms, the 70s style takes some getting used to. Despite everything, very good hotel. I've been there for a week now. Great, especially the breakfast is completely sufficient. If you have any wishes, just let us know. Or even in the case of intolerances. For me the boss is to buy extra lactose-free milk. He didn't have to do it, I was very happy about it. In the evening the restaurant fish from its own smokehouse is delicious. You can also buy there. The location is also great, close to the highway. This means trips are no problem, even to Brussels or The Hague.Also worth mentioning is the smokehouse that buys fish and seafood from small local fishermen in the area. A small disadvantage is that the building is noisy. Otherwise great, please keep it up.
