Meal...we were looking for a guesthouse in Wuppertal for 2 nights. The reason was a visit from a dog from animal welfare. We found this guesthouse. Well located...that's all. When we arrived, the first thing we noticed was that the cladding of the house was covered here and there with duct tape. Then we went into the house to briefly inspect the premises with the landlady. It wasn't really cleaned. We were there for the Easter weekend. Otherwise, a mechanic probably lives there, which could be deduced from the food in the refrigerator. We would have to clean the stove first in order to bake the rolls. Microwave too. We completely cleaned the set of cutlery, plates and cups for ourselves and left them outside. So that we always had clean dishes. The coffee machine is an imposition. Stained brown and faded. Fan and light from the stove are missing. Broken freezer in the fridge. Furniture is tattered and already well past its peak. When pulling out the drawers you had to be careful that everything didn't collapse. Corners and edges broken away. Everything is kind of a mess. I have already seen a few guesthouses in my assembly work. But such accommodation cannot be offered. If you have little to no demands, you are welcome to go there. However, not for families. Or travel tourism. We paid 120 euros and left as early as possible on the third day when everything was sorted out with the dog. Total disaster

Nice little guesthouse for a short trip to Wuppertal. Friendly contact and everything can be reached quickly from here (bus stops, suspension railway).

If you don't need any comfort, this is the place for you.Dogs allowed 👍👍👍👍Outlet directly opposite.Difficult to find a parking space, but were able to park in the driveway upon request.Breakfast made with love and sufficient.

Very outdated, retro furniture and dirty. Fridge, microwave, toaster etc NOT clean. Somewhat unfriendly, not recommended!

So after a 6 month stay in this guesthouse, I can't say anything good. The owner is a lady who asks her about money on the first of the month. To be fair, I have to say that it also helped a lot.1. You can only wash once a week2. You can't get new sheets without asking3The cleanliness is not guaranteed4 some of the furniture is broken.5 the bed at the top of the room is just a mini couch with mattresses thrown on it.6 the area is unkempt7. The windows weren't made at all8. The owner just goes into the room when you're not there, and things were different for me afterwards.My conclusion is that you should really avoid the guesthouse. Prices are too high for nothing to be done.There were always ants running on the worktop, and if you said anything about it, it was ignored.

Nice reception... Meeting on time to hand over the keys and show everything in the house. The lady was also so friendly and gave my friend a map of the city and information material so that she could make good use of her time when I was busy. I think it's great to think like that. Thumbs up!!!

I can only recommend this accommodation for anyone who wants to stay very inexpensively (the prices on the homepage are valid as of 08/2011) and still want to stay comfortably and can do without a breakfast buffet. It is a slightly older house with holiday apartments each with two bedrooms as well as a bathroom and kitchen (at least that was mine). If you only book a single or double room you have a room for yourself, you share the kitchen and bathroom with your neighbor as long as this room is occupied, I had no problem with that. My bedroom (as a single room) was equipped with a TV, comfortable bed, closet, armchair and table (but I don't know if all rooms are equipped the same). The furniture was all very well maintained and, above all, it was clean. The kitchen is lavishly equipped with everything you could possibly need for cooking. Despite the highway not being far away, I was able to sleep with the window open without any problems; you don't hear much. In general the environment is quite quiet. Conclusion: For the same comfort, you pay almost twice as much elsewhere in the area, especially as a solo traveler. The small point deduction is due to the location, which is easily accessible by city bus but is still rather remote (only a supermarket nearby, no restaurants). On the other hand, there is unfortunately no WiFi, so it's probably not worth it for the rather small house.
