My family has been visiting this restaurant regularly for over 20 years and we look forward to every visit. Delicious dishes at a reasonable price. Nice and competent staff and solid premises. My highlight: eating the Franconian Schäufele in the Stuben restaurant area.

What definitely didn't fit was the warm beer. The right temperature is between 6 and 8 degrees. The beer served was in the double digits. No glass had condensation! The complaint was unsuccessful. …

Very friendly welcome, we were taken to our room. Didn't have to make a reservation for the restaurant and the kitchen was excellent, tasty and good food. Was a transit point for us, but definitely recommended.

Dear Güthlein team,I had dinner with my girlfriend today. What can I say...The service was no service...We both had schnitzel "Viennese style" with potato salad, my schnitzel was somewhat acceptable, but my friend's schnitzel was... How do I put it? It was more of a “shoe leather.” The potato salad was the best part of the meal. The side salad - at least the carrot and coleslaw - was from a can and there was no dressing either.While we were sitting there, right next to the reception, a lady came and checked in. It took 5 minutes to find the lady's reservation, then there were problems with the room because the lady had booked a room on the 1st floor but got one on the 2nd floor. The lady insisted on the room on the first floor, and the receptionist barked at her in a very unfriendly tone. The lady finally took the one on the 2nd floor.A short time later the lady came back into the restaurant and ordered something to drink, but she wasn't allowed to sit down in the restaurant and was sent away with her drink and the whole thing in a tone that was bottom drawer...I have never experienced anything like today in my entire life.I would recommend closing the hotel and restaurant for a few days and using this time to attend a kindness seminar.Furthermore, if I were you, I would read the recessions clearly and take them seriously and work on yourself.Best regardsLisa Schön

We booked for 3 nights and were very disappointed. The staff was very rude in everything, as was the boss. After a long journey of around 8 hours, we wanted to have a coffee and a cake, the coffee was brought after about 15 minutes, we asked where the cake was, then the waitress said in a not friendly tone that we had to know that they were in the Are open. Although we left the room key at the table, our coffee was removed. When I asked why it had been cleared away, I was told I had thought they had left, how illogical we should get our cake, which then took another 20 minutes. In the evening we wanted to have dinner in the restaurant and sat down at a free table. The waiter first came and asked if we had a reservation, we said no and he said we had to go and then gave us a table a little later (if we hadn't been from the trip like that we would have looked for something else).For the fact that there is its own butcher shop, the price performance is not justified.There are also different times for breakfast: 1st day from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. 2nd day 6:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. 3rd day from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. But the 3rd day only opened at 7:15 a.m., that was amazing During breakfast you shouted loudly (staff) Have you set the table? We want to have breakfast after the motte. Guests can leave.In general the hotel is very unfriendly, rude and very loud. We won't be coming back.

Good bourgeois cuisine.Very cozy in the fireplace room.Price/performance is right.You can always go back there.Be sure to reserve!!!Unfortunately the dining room leaves a lot to be desired as the service door closes very loudly.
