Highly recommended, I had a meal here as a guest in the restaurant and it was very tasty. Service is also very good and the prices are appropriate for the quality, even if higher than usual in the Fichtelgebirge. But you also get good food and in sufficient portion sizes. Gladly again.

We went today for a three course meal on a surprise basis from the chef. It was a successful evening from start to finish. The service was great and the food was very tasty and served nicely. Finally, the price for everything was more than reasonable. Thank you for the lovely evening. To everyone who reads this. Be sure to try it out and stop by. Big thanks to the team.

Six of us ate here today and asked for a vegan menu by phone. No sooner said than done, unfortunately I didn't capture the greeting from the kitchen in a photo. With the drinks there was a delicious polenta soup with leek, mini rolls with two delicious dips, one with curry mango and the other with beetroot and horseradish. The first course was a beetroot carpaccio with polenta and parsnip cream. The main course was fried tofu on a chickpea curry with grilled eggplant and spinach, garnished with mushrooms, chips and a small warm tomato salad. An apple, raspberry and Aperol sorbet garnished with fruits and berries formed the highlight. The food was completely convincing, everything was very well seasoned and there was a common thread running through the entire menu. The service was very friendly and competent, just an all-round successful evening and service. We'll definitely come back.

What particularly distinguishes this accommodation is the perfect service very close to the guest. You can see your wishes as early as breakfast, which is wonderfully rich and varied, and you never have the feeling of being a nuisance. This continues in housekeeping: after the extensive breakfast, the room was already made. The restaurant has a rather small but very fine menu, which often serves conventional dishes of perfect quality, but also with a special twist and foreign culinary influences. Absolutely great! And when the host recommends one of his numerous gins at the end and serves it with a cleverly chosen tonic, it is a perfect end to the day. In summary: a great team effort and reason enough for us to spend a few days there again and again.

Small, quiet, dog friendly, excellent food and amazing breakfast. Very friendly staff who can't do enough for you and lovely rooms. This was the second time we've been here and we were just as impressed as the first time. Laid back atmosphere with a la cart food. Can't recommend higher!

I was on a business trip and spent 2 nights there. The team was very warm and nice. The rooms are modern and stylish.You can relax in the garden next to the restaurant.I will gladly come again.

A really nice little hotel with very friendly staff and an outstanding kitchen.The rooms have been renovated and look fresh and modern. Through many little things in the room and throughout the house you can tell that there is love here.You could help yourself from the minibar for free - I've never experienced anything like that.Breakfast is served directly at the table and there was something for every taste. If you wanted, you could always get more of everything. Muesli and jam were served on a beautifully presented buffet.I was here with a friend over the weekend: we were both thrilled, we didn't miss anything and will definitely come back.Many thanks to the team for the lovely stay.

+Very quiet location, simply but nicely furnished rooms, small balcony, very friendly owner, dogs allowed, nice sauna + whirlpool, free water + fruit, good parking situation-Very noisy - room doors close extremely loudly, wifi didn't work, you can constantly hear noise in the wall (possibly heating or water pipes)

At 80 euros per night in a single room, it is clearly too expensive, worth a maximum of 50 euros. At first glance, the rooms appear nicely furnished. Mattress very soft and sagging, extremely loud until late at night, otherwise very noisy, you can hear the roommate showering, and very cold in the room despite the end of May. Strangely enough, the breakfast is not a buffet, you can order whatever you want, but with the mini rolls it's really not nice to have to run to the service for every little thing. The breakfast is definitely not enough to fill you up. Cappuccino and coffee inedible and tasteless.I can't confirm the unfriendly staff described here, but when we left they didn't even ask if everything was okay.

We recently went here for a short vacation and were very satisfied. The nicely furnished and very clean room and the hotel as a whole are much more modern than the name and appearance initially suggest. The free mineral water and the free minibar were great! There is also a lovingly prepared, very tasty breakfast (it doesn't always have to be a buffet...). Further points: Parking in front of and behind the house is no problem, some rooms have a balcony and a beautiful view - worth it!The associated restaurant was also convincing - but it costs money - even if you forego the huge gin selection ;-). However, the (meat) quality and portions justify the prices. The price of the hotel itself is absolutely fine for what is on offer.Overall, definitely a recommendation, and if we go to the Fichtelgebirge again in the near future, we will be guests here again.

Mega nice little hotel. Perfect for hikes or bike rides. Super dog friendly! Our dog even got his own very high quality bed. Breakfast was indescribably good - the best breakfast we have ever eaten (no one leaves hungry).Dinner at the highest level, very tasty. Service was super nice and helpful.We had a great time and will most likely come back.

A really great hotel with very friendly service and a stylish ambience. Safe and modern, technologically well upgraded.The rooms are clean and very tastefully decorated. The breakfast and dinner were super delicious! Can only recommend the hotel restaurant! Above all, the price-performance ratio is great!

A fantastically beautiful hotel in all respects.We especially remember the positive and warm welcome. Every employee here has a smile on their face and knows their craft.The rooms are lovingly and beautifully furnished but not at all overloaded.The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and with a drink afterwards in the lounge, you can choose from a large selection of drinks (all of which are made in the family business) and an almost endless selection of cocktails.The food is rich and the prices are reasonable. There is something for everyone and the chef knows his craft.We will come back in any case.
