Here customer is kingThere is even a nice communal kitchen with a coffee machine 👍Location: is a residential area with a school a few meters away. But it is relatively quiet…The motorway is 5 minutes away, therefore good connections.The price is almost too cheap, so more than fair.I'm still looking forward to breakfast, so I can't say anything about it. But the good reviews give me hope for great things... I'm so excited that I gave the review as soon as I arrived. ;)I can only recommend it and it will be included in my favorites list.

Very friendly owners, lovely rooms, nice view & good breakfast. Good Pizzaria near by for dinner and you can always ask the owners for some good tips regarding nearby activities/events.

Stayed at the guesthouse on Sonneberg at the weekend and were completely satisfied. Very quiet guesthouse just a few minutes by car from Bamberg. Very clean rooms, everything was spotless with a delicious breakfast and a really lovely owner

Very nice room with fly screen, comfortable bed, balcony and large bathroom, very dear owners. Price performance very good, you can park on weekends in the school parking lot diagonally opposite the guest house, in the side streets or you can ask the owners

Beautifully located guest house with a well-kept room with a bathroom that was spotless. Very quiet location, you will find peace here. The room had a large balcony with a good view. Unfortunately, the room was specified with breakfast when booking, which was put into perspective when the booking was confirmed by email. There we received the information that breakfast had to be arranged on site. This was also canceled due to the hostess' illness. What a shame! That annoyed us very much.

As part of a seminar, we were looking for somewhere to stay overnight north of Bamberg and stumbled across the “Gästehaus Sonnenberg Baunach”. What we expected was a guest house: clean, functional. To put it bluntly, we expected "nothing special", especially given the low prices.We got: Really comfortable beds (and I'm really difficult there), a super cute, modern, beautiful bathroom, a spacious room with a crazy view, a breakfast that was so lovingly prepared and really filling. And the real hit is the boss of the house. We really could have all hugged her. Ms. Lesny is so warm and looked after us like we were kings and queens.Thank you very much again! We felt more than comfortable.

Nothing, really nothing to complain about! Starting with the great location with a view over the town, warm and very accommodating hosts, the first-class and loving furnishings throughout the house and - not forgetting the fantastic breakfast on the sunny terrace!
