Great journey back in time to an earlier world. All is well with the world here. We felt completely comfortable over the weekend and were provided with really delicious, home-made food. Very friendly staff!

Inn right on the brewery path, good beer, hearty dinner, simple but plentiful breakfast, rooms are simple but clean and cozy, payment only in cash with some complicated calculation.

The three of us from Upper Palatinate went hiking in Aufseß. We stayed overnight in the Mühlengrund. The rooms are clean and reasonable for the price. The innkeepers are very warm and friendly. The breakfast is good and the kitchen is very good. In the evening we had schnitzel with fried potatoes. Thank you very much, the Westermeyer family. If you want to spend a quiet, relaxing and relaxing time, you should stay here.

A visit back to the 1970s. But everything is neat and clean. Very nice hosts in their 70s. Well occupied in summer. Hopefully successors will be found here in the next few years.

Despite the great location, the restaurants are closed in high season.

A trip to the 70s. Good handmade food, friendly people and old but clean rooms. The price-performance ratio is good

Owners are very hard working. But the property's heyday was probably a few decades ago...

The owners are very friendly and warm. However, it must also be said that the rooms are very old. It also exudes a certain Franconian charm, but ultimately still has potential for improvement. We found the prices comparatively high for the region (>100 euros for a double room with breakfast). The beer was definitely good and so was the atmosphere in the restaurant. The food is freshly prepared and was ok (schnitzel and cordon bleu). But for the prices I might have expected a little more quality and service. However, the accommodation is located directly on the brewery hiking trail and is therefore a very suitable location for the hike.
