I've been coming here since 1987 - sometimes to eat, sometimes to stay overnight. Unfortunately the restaurant is now permanently closed. The rooms are immaculate, the breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. I wish you all the best and would love to come back!

Danger:Unfortunately the restaurant has been permanently closed since January 2024. That's really a pity. For me, it was always worth a stop after a hike through the valley or a ride on the motorcycle.

Unfortunately now without a restaurant. The reason for this moved me very much. An extremely friendly hostess. The bathroom is already iconic, the room is modern. Good breakfast. Wish you all the best 🍀

We always enjoyed eating here. We didn't stay overnight here. But the food is worth every kilometer here. Absolutely great cuisine. Here the boss still cooks himself. The service is very good and friendly. You should make a reservation on the weekend, but it wasn't absolutely necessary during the week, but it doesn't hurt. The best way to combine the whole thing is with a hike in the Kleinziegenfelder Valley. First hike and then go for a nice, delicious meal.

Always a pleasant experience to eat in the family-run inn.The food is freshly and deliciously prepared. The waitresses are friendly and helpful.To be honest, when you read some of the not so positive reviews here you really wonder what kind of people they are."Beg for a schnapps and then be surprised that they don't get it"The food is a little more expensive.At every restaurant you can read the menu with prices outside.Too few vegetarian and vegan dishes. You can also read this outside before entering the inn.Beer garden on the street - yes, it's in a small village where cars actually drive. Everything is previously open and visible.If that doesn't suit you, you can move on.Before you write a review, you should think about what you say about yourself.I'm glad that the inn exists and I'd love to come back

Very good food, even special requests (veg.) are prepared deliciously and attractively. The service staff is very quick and friendly - we were served by Christopher, he made a very competent impression, gave us very good advice, was very quick and enriched our evening overall. In any case, we recommend it!!!

Waiter: “It doesn’t matter if you come back, it’s always full anyway.” And that’s exactly how the service was on October 7th, 2023.The food is ok, a little more expensive than usual.Unfortunately, one dish was completely forgotten. Generally the dishes came one every 5 minutes. When the last one didn't come, we asked. Then, without a word, the dish was brought 15 minutes later. Without apology.As we were paying we asked what was going on. There was no apology and whether there was a snap. The waiter disappeared without a word and came back after 5 minutes and said: I'm sorry about the late meal, but there's no snaps.
