What nonsense do we have to read here... We were greeted very friendly and courteously, not a trace of unfriendliness. The rooms are very clean and stylishly furnished. What impressed us most about the room was the super comfortable double bed. This breakfast is really diverse and very tasty. Unfortunately we were only able to sleep for one night as we continued on the ship to Denmark. We will definitely go to mimosa again next time we stay. Marc and Nadine from Stuttgart

Unfortunately, the Mimosa Hotel only impresses with its good location.When we arrived we overheard a very disinterested conversation with another guest. We were greeted just as disinterestedly. After a hello there was a look that said “what do you want” rather than “how can I be of help”. At first we received a room card with the wrong name, after a tip from our side there was a lot of confusion and we were told to move into the room anyway.The room in question was really very small (we knew that when we booked), but the bed could only be entered from one side, there was only one socket and a bedside table.In the bathroom, the shower door flew towards us while we were showering and the lamp also fell off the wall.The next morning we tried to talk to the staff but the employee didn't listen to us. The only thing that came up several times was the statement “I’ll take a look at it straight away”.At the next meeting, when asked again, they said a craftsman would come during the day.Back in the room in the evening, everything was the same and water was still running from the toilet cistern.When we called the phone number left at reception, we received a rather rude answer. The colleague on the phone didn't know that something was broken in the bathroom, the repairman was only there for the lamp (which was still hanging out of the wall).We attribute the miscommunication between the staff to the colleagues not listening and being disinterested in the morning.We were left with the fact that the colleague should be informed about what happened the next morning.The next day, however, he knew nothing about what had been described and needed another explanation. (The 3rd colleague)At that point we had already spent 2 nights in the inadequate room.We should report to reception by 6pm to change rooms.We ended our trip at 4:30 p.m. and there was no one left in the hotel.After a call, however, the unfriendly employee from the previous day appeared and gave us the new room cards.No questions asked, not a word of apology.The majority of the staff seemed very uninterested and uncommunicative. This is not something you are used to on the island. Really a shame!Apart from an employee who took care of our problem, took care of the room change and paid out compensation after 4 malicious inquiries, we can't say anything positive about the service.The room also left a lot to be desired in terms of cleanliness.There is far too little space in the breakfast room for the number of guests and when the sun is shining it is unbearably warm.Definitely the last time in this hotel for us.

Not visited

Was comfortable. Sometimes it was cold in the room because there was no heating. Only 10 minutes on foot to the train station. I'd love to come back 🩵

Clean, nicely decorated. Modern shower room, small kitchenette with Nespresso machine. Can be opened with a normal key.

The room was fine, but there was neither a microwave nor hotplates as promised.Air conditioning did not work.The purchased parking space was overbooked, so we couldn't stay there. In addition, there was a public parking space right next door for half the price.Nice garden and nice location.

This is about the Hotel Mimosa, not these suites!Absolute no go when it comes to the price/performance ratio.The reception (or what is referred to here) is not staffed after 7:00 p.m. If you arrive later, check-in is only possible using a separate code.That only worked to a limited extent.The first room we were given was unreasonable.In the basement, almost directly next to the garbage room, with a light well as a window with a view of the parking lot above.New room the next day.The door could hardly be opened because it dragged on the floor.Despite a quick correction, the same problem after 4 days.Breakfast and the associated service was very good. Operation very service oriented.You could also sit outside.But those were the best highlights.Unfortunately there is no fridge or opportunity to get drinks.Unfortunately, I definitely cannot recommend the hotel.A pity.

Nice hotel, very clean, close to the city and train station, easy to reach on foot, rooms are well equipped! The bed is very comfortable and the small kitchen has dishes, a fridge, a kettle and a Nespresso machine! …
