Bucolic and picturesque hotel in a pretty village near Heidelberg, which is a must-visit.Ideally located, this place is conducive to relaxation thanks to the surrounding forest.The staff is attentive and the breakfast was plentiful.

Small penzion close to Heidelberg. Pension is located outsided centrum so there is nature around.Room I spend night was small, but en ough for one or two days business trip=working table chair. Internet connection was not fast so sometimes I have to wait couple seconds for feedback CRM. Mobile connection was a little bit faster and more stable.Breakfast were standard continental so I have no complain.Parking places are close to hotel, but there is limited number of places...

The country inn is getting a bit old, but it also has charm. The room was a bit old fashioned, but that doesn't bother me if the trimmings are very good. The entire staff was extremely friendly, helpful, attentive and warm. Our two dogs were more than welcome and we were allowed to take them into the restaurant and breakfast room. This also led to some great conversations. Very tasty local food (game, fish, steak). At the end there was even a certificate for the dogs. A great idea. We will be back definitely.

Were there with 24 people for a family celebration. The food was a disaster - the schnitzel tasted like “wutz”, the rump steak was as if it had been cooked and was not medium rare but well done. Unfortunately 98% didn't like it.Chef sits directly at the table in the restaurant with dirty clothes. Everything messy and greasy. Not nice to look at - unfortunately run down over the years. A PITY

It's very beautiful there. Very friendly staff, the room was small but nice, clean and friendly. There was a beautiful bath! So many small, loving details that delight the heart and the palate. It was fun. Thank you very much for that! I'd love to come back.

We stayed at the inn for 2 nights over New Year's Eve and were very satisfied.The hosts and staff were extremely nice. What struck us particularly positively was that the inn was fond of animals. Our little dogs even received a certificate saying they were very nice and had their own table reservation.The rooms were very clean and simply furnished, but had everything you needed.The guest room looked like you would imagine a country inn to be. Everything was harmonious and the details were very beautiful. Our son found a large Christmas tree with a miniature locomotive and winter scene quite fascinating.We didn't use the associated winter garden, but in spring or summer it would certainly be nice to spend time in with a view of green trees.The location of the inn is very nice, after just a few meters you are in the middle of nature. There are enough parking spaces for cars.The breakfast was fresh and rich. There was something for everyone. In addition to the selection of rolls with lots of cold cuts, there were warm extras, such as small sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs or baked beans.For dinner we had roast venison, which was very tender, and there were homemade spaetzle. We also had meatloaf. Everything was really delicious.We felt very comfortable and thank you for the lovely weekend. We can only recommend the inn.

Cozy family hotel with vintage charm+ Very friendly and courteous staff+ Clean rooms+ Good regional cuisine+ Ideal starting point for hikes in the beautiful Odenwald+/- Public transport: If you don't want to drive to Heidelberg by car, which the author strongly recommends, there is a direct tram from Schriesheim, but there is only a road that needs renovation that leads there, or you can take the small one. Detour through the bypass tunnel- Location not quite ideal, you can hear the bypass a bit

I visited the hotel with its friendly hosts and was simply thrilled!The friendly staff are always in a good mood and you look forward to spending time there with a glass of wine and food.The food is great (game dishes and more) and tastes simply excellent.Breakfast is really great and plentiful!Whoever is still complaining probably doesn't have anything in the fridge at home :-)The rooms are individual for each type.Surrounded by forest and vineyards, you can sleep well in the cozy rooms.Whether traveling alone, as an outfit or with the family, there is something for everyone.The hosts are gradually renovating the rooms so that they continue to meet their standard.The price performance here is totally right.I would love to come back and say thank you for the great time.Kind regards, Mario

So everything is a bit old, 80s style, but the location is quiet and not far from the motorway, the food is all very simple but good quality and tastes good. The operators are very friendly and always look out for your well-being. The 5 stars are based on price-performance and because everything fit within this framework.
