Small private campsite where you feel welcomed and comfortable from the first minute. We can only recommend it! You can cycle perfectly along the Ilm to Weimar in a very short time. Thank you for the great memory, we felt incredibly comfortable. Thanks also for the laundry service :)

I used the campsite, not the guesthouse. This is the garden of an old country house, adjacent to the beautiful park of Tiefurt Castle, which can be reached directly from the campsite. Everything is very nice and very clean. The appropriate price. Maybe a few more showers wouldn't hurt.

It is a very idyllic campsite. If you don't cycle, you can take bus number 3 to Weimar Goetheplatz. The place is well managed and really recommended. However, the sanitary situation is not too generous.

If you love peace and quiet, this campsite is the most beautiful, idyllic and loving place we have ever seen. A small, very clean washhouse matches the small complex. We stayed longer than we planned. A big thank you from Austria Christa and Harald

We camped here as cyclists for 2 nights and found it wonderful. The place is small and cozy, beautifully planted. There is public seating everywhere, some by the pond, some covered. If you inform yourself beforehand, you can adjust your expectations. There is a kettle, 2 hotplates and even a bowl for hand washing our cycling jerseys! We always showered around 5 p.m. so we didn't have to wait in line. And for 1 euro you can shower for 5 minutes, which is easily enough for 3 family members. The environment is beautiful, the operators are helpful. Next supermarket about 3.5 km away, nice to walk or cycle on the Ilmradweg. Rewe to Go for Sundays just under 5 km away. Be sure to check out the park and Tiefurt Castle - beautiful!! Would love to come back.

Insanely beautiful little campsite located directly on the river bank in an idyllic landscape park. Perfect for cyclists and couples. We were there as a family with small children and unfortunately always felt like a bit of a nuisance in this absolute peace and quiet (even though the operators were very nice and showed the children the fish pond straight away). Unfortunately, the pool was very overcrowded in high season (i.e. with people, not with water) and not separated according to gender; which was very uncomfortable for me as a woman.

We stayed at this place for 2 nights during the European Championship final.The operators are really approachable and friendly.The place is in a great location in an extremely beautiful and quiet side village of Weimar, right on the Ilmtal cycle path.This takes you to the old town of Weimar in about 15 minutes.Worth knowing:The nearby bakery is now on vacation from July 22nd and is otherwise closed on Sundays and MondaysThere is no other way to get rolls!Sanitary installations:There is a converted construction trailer for men and women on the square.Cleanliness really okayThen there is another toilet and shower area in the main house. There are 2 showers here, each of which can be operated with a 1 euro coin.Unfortunately, these showers are only separated from the toilet area with a shower curtainMy wife didn't feel so comfortable there.That is also the reason for the star deductionRather a pity:Unfortunately, the WiFi coverage wasn't the best on siteOtherwise we really liked it there and would go there againThanks for the stay!!!!!

Great for a trip to Weimar.Small campsite with very good value for money. The sanitary facilities are clean and well maintained, but a bit small. You have to be patient for the shower (1€-5min). Staff/owner very friendly. Loving facility with a good location. Almost everything is right on your doorstep: nature, farm, bus stop (15 minutes to Weimar - Goetheplatz, 9 minutes to Weimar main station), park, castle, mill, restaurant and cafe. I don't think there are any shopping opportunities. There is a sewage treatment plant upstream, but you don't get anything from it (except purified water).

We spent the past weekend at this small, very idyllic campsite.Due to the very different reviews, I was excited to see what to really expect. The owner couple were very friendly. We were given a wonderful place, on the edge of the castle park under huge trees. Overall, it was an extremely relaxing stay; a long lie-in was guaranteed thanks to the absolute peace. For breakfast there were fresh eggs from free-range chickens, which the boss quickly collected for us.The sanitary facilities in the building were always clean and in absolutely good condition. As far as the toilet truck is concerned, you feel like you've been transported back in time a bit, the whole thing has a certain charm.The proximity to Weimar was ideal. In 5 minutes we were in the city center, the way there led along a little-used road through the middle of the forest.We would always choose this place if we were headed towards Weimar.

For me, this little place was a total surprise and was a great way to relax! No long walks, birdsong, the sound of the neighboring river and peace on the site! The small town is also something to fall in love with and the castle park right next door makes for a nice, quiet walk! A good balance to the city tour through beautiful, exciting Weimar! However, you shouldn't place such high demands on the sanitary facilities!

Went by bike. The rain prevented us from being there until 6 p.m. The lady told us quite unkindly that we would be unlucky because a later arrival would not be possible.

A wonderfully idyllic place, particularly suitable for people looking for peace and quiet. Located directly on the castle park of Tiefurt and on the cycle path to Weimar. The city can be reached by bike within 20 minutes. The couple who run it are very friendly. The sanitary facilities are very simple but perfectly clean. The toilets are in a trailer, the showers are separated by curtains and can be used as a family bathroom. Electricity is available at every place. The price-performance ratio is right. Everything you need is there. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back.

There are toilets in a dilapidated construction trailer (see photo) and in the building there are 2 cells next to each other for males and females without an acoustically effective partition. The best thing, however, are the two shower cubicles next to each other, each of which has no doors (see photo), so you have to be a supporter of the nudist movement to find it nice to show yourself naked in front of strangers (male or female). . Completely unacceptable. Only the proximity to Weimar and the lack of alternatives motivate you to book there. Also quite expensive.
