Sher very quiet location. The hotel is located in the middle of nature. You walk out the door and find yourself directly in the forest. Super friendly service, very clean hotel and not even expensive. Recommendation for anyone who plans to hike or simply wants to take a break in nature.

We planned rooms here for a trike tour at the end of July 2024 and used the hotel as a “base camp”. Together we were three families (two each) with three vehicles. We chose the location via Google and were immediately impressed by the location. Very quiet and relaxed atmosphere in the middle of the green - wonderful. The parking lot is really big, good access, although hidden. The operator puts a lot of effort into it, even though the hotel itself is getting a bit old, something is always being modernized. The reception is kept sparse, which is understandable and hardly bothersome. The directly connected restaurant is very familiar and there is a nice outdoor area for eating and relaxing. The rooms are functionally furnished and there is no problem at all for our “driving things”, such as helmets and jackets etc. From the window you can see directly into the greenery, which we really liked. The ambience is simply beautiful and, as we noticed, you can go hiking from here. The rooms are clean and tidy, which can also be said about the toilets in the house. The price is affordable and not exorbitant. In our opinion, the food is very good and the menu offering is sufficient. So if you're looking for a hotel with a restaurant that's beautifully located in the countryside, then you've come to the right place. You should be mobile as the hotel is a bit outside.

We stayed at this hotel for a family reunion for 3 days and everyone was completely satisfied. The hotel is in a quiet and idyllic location in Leubengrund. The rooms are clean, comfortable and the bathrooms were all new.The staff is highly praiseworthy. Everyone was very nice, friendly and considerate. The managing director herself was always open to all questions and requests!And the kitchen also deserves high praise. The food was always absolutely delicious. The Mutzbraten is simply great! Thanks!By the way: the WiFi works perfectly

I've been here for several weeks now and I've always really enjoyed it. It is extremely quiet and somewhat remote, so for anyone looking for relaxation without the usual hotel bells and whistles: great.There is a restaurant on site at the hotel.The food has always been excellent.However, for a longer stay, my suggestion would be to change the menu or dishes more often.Otherwise, I can recommend the hotel with a clear conscience because it is a nice starting point for further tours in the surrounding area.We would especially like to thank the very good service in the evening and of course also the breakfast team and room service.Simply great and thank you for the friendly and lovely stay.FA.

It was not possible to set a table for 10 people in the beer garden. Special requests for food will not be taken into account. Long waiting times for the food in a moderately busy restaurant (1 1/2 hours). The food was good home cooking and nothing to complain about. Changes in service meant that you had to run to the counter yourself to point out further order requests. The ambience is decent, but seems rather cool. As a guest, you couldn't feel that the staff "lived their calling", as advertised in the menu. All in all, a moderately pleasant visit.

We had a very nice long weekend here with the whole family. We can only report positive things about the quiet location of the hotel, the delicious, varied food, the clean rooms and the very friendly staff. With a lot of effort and expense, everything was made possible to accommodate the large number of people. A big thank you for that. A visit to the Leuchtenburg is highly recommended. You should plan several hours here to be able to look at everything in peace. We would like to come back.

A hotel for hiking enthusiasts and people looking for peace and quiet in the middle of the forest. The hotel offers modern regional cuisine, very tasty!!! The hotel has good service and very friendly staff.

We ate there on three evenings in a row, as there is otherwise no restaurant worth mentioning in Kahla and the surrounding area. Thanks to the varied memory card, this wasn't a problem. The food is extremely good and the service is very accommodating. The location is beautiful and very lonely at the end of a long valley. If I were to travel to the area again, I would stay there.
