First of all: I was only there for one night to sleep. There's probably no breakfast at all, I don't know if there are other meals. From outside you can hardly tell that you are standing in front of the hotel. On the entrance door, which has been moved up 2 steps and further back, you can find the name in mirror-inverted writing. After coming in I was initially surprised, it was straight up a flight of stairs, there was nothing else there, it wasn't until later that I saw the reference to the reception on the first floor, not for the short-sighted. Check-in worked, reasonably friendly. After half an hour I had to meet somewhere else and reported to reception that the toilet flushing wasn't working properly and that I couldn't find the reset button on the built-in safe that was required to use it according to the short description. The receptionist said she wanted to ask. When I returned at around 5:30 p.m., there was no sign of the receptionist. Nothing happened either. I was away again from around 6:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Until 9:00 in the morning, when I wanted to check out, there was still no responsible person in sight, and I went outside to smoke several times. I put the key card on the counter, I had already paid. The room itself was simply furnished, tidy, the floor was a little dirty. At around 9° the heating was off, the window was open, my arrival time was announced! The television programs were not as organized as described on the existing sheet, let alone even available to the extent that they were. Thanks to the remote control, which only consisted of on/off, program up/down, loud/quiet and sound off, i.e. without number buttons, and the lack of channel information on the screen, proper operation was not possible. Wardrobe big enough, enough hangers. I think it's risky to describe the existing table as a work opportunity, just because of the "size" - half of the footwell is occupied by a mini fridge with no contents. The bathroom was fine except for the previously mentioned rinse, hand/bath towels, foot cloth, hair dryer, soap etc. were there. All in all, very disappointing compared to the internet description. If it weren't for the central location on the beautiful market square with old houses, town hall, cafe directly opposite, etc., it wouldn't necessarily be suitable unless it was just for sleeping, if something else was previously expected based on the description.

A super nice host and a great location, right on the market square.The rooms are clean and spacious.To make it perfect, breakfast would have to be offered. This was possible in the extra sheet right next to it.Otherwise, the former Schütte café and bakery has become a great location.Highly recommended for people who are looking for short distances to the shopping street or to the bars and restaurants in Warendorf.Always my pleasure.Greetings from Berlin

Room was clean and comfortably furnished.I miss breakfast for the price range but okay, we are in the middle of the city center with lots of options for breakfast.No parking spaces available.The entrance could be a bit nicer but it's a matter of taste ;)Small cosmetic defects could be removed or repaired from time to time.Location great 👍

Very nice staff, the rooms corresponded to the photos on the website. We were able to park the bikes safely downstairs in the restaurant (which is currently being renovated). The central location means you are well looked after in the evening and morning.

Lovingly furnished and clean rooms. Our room was very spacious. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Stress-free, quick and uncomplicated contact in advance. 1a location! We were able to store our bikes safely. We'll be happy to come back if we ever end up in Warendorf again.

In any case, the market hotel deserves much more than 3.8 stars.The very best location right on the market square with gastro in abundance, cozy and tasteful rooms.Telephone check-in went smoothly and flexibly (I was able to get into the room 90 minutes before release), I was able to lock my bike right next door (charging was of course offered). A great breakfast room is currently being built there.I wish the Markthotel team much success with the concept and would be happy to come by again

We were on a bike tour and were happy about the beautiful room. Can't understand some of the reviews, our room is clean and very tastefully decorated. It's not a minibar but a small refrigerator that you can put your own drink in. And for us it was switched on. Uncomplicated check-in, our bikes are safely stored in the lower room. E-bikes can be charged. It is well known that you cannot have breakfast; a restaurant is being built downstairs and is still under construction. We are satisfied.By the way, you can have breakfast not only in the Extrablatt but also in the café next door. A very nice little cafe 👍🏻

The hotel is very centrally located. From the outside, things don't look very good at the moment. The rooms are great. You can have an excellent breakfast in the Extra Blatt, but you don't need breakfast in the hotel.

Absolutely not recommended for the price! "Minibar" empty, warm and very dingy!Pillows very very small (big and comfortable in the pictures) Shower dirty, no remote control for the TV, no light bulb in the lamps, ventilation dirty, loud and musty. Towels hard and musty. NEVER AGAIN

For the price of 175 euros, we expected a little more. It was well known that there was no breakfast (although other hotels in this price category offer breakfast). Unfortunately, the room is very dusty (which has already been written in other reviews). Some of the lamps in the room are broken or the light bulb is missing. Some television channels can only be watched with subtitles because you can only change the program and the volume on the remote control. What I think is a real shame is that the above-mentioned points have already been complained about several times, but the hotel operator doesn't seem to care. Otherwise the complaints would have been settled long ago.

Good hotel for a short vacation or business trip to Warendorf and the surrounding area. Unfortunately, breakfast is only possible at 10 a.m. However, there are several cozy bakeries in the immediate vicinity. You can also sit inside there. Some open from 6 a.m. Parking is not offered. There are plenty of free parking spaces within walking distance from 6 p.m. to 9 a.m. for the night. The location right on the market square makes a stroll through the city a relaxing, pleasant experience, even at Christmas time. This location is also good in the evening if you are planning an alcoholic trip to the very good nearby restaurants. So overall a good location.
