Business hotel as you would expect. Simple, clean rooms, everything works. You sleep here because you have to spend the night somewhere. You can do that with dignity ;)Sound insulation from the train station was quite okay.In a direct comparison with b&b hotels, it comes up short, which is only saved by the location at the train station.On a side note: the staff was a bit strange, no real reason to complain, just strange.

Hotel well located but poorly maintained, the shower does not drain well and the bathroom floods, the heating does not heat well and the refrigerator does not cool well. The staff is very attentive and very nice, they change your room without a problem but it is a nuisance once installed.

Very central location with good parking. Good service but unfortunately the hotel bar was closed indefinitely. The vending machine in the lobby was also broken. Rooms were clean and the breakfast was very good.

Decent place to live if you are short term at Ulm, great advantage as it is within the Railway station premise..Rooms are small as indicated by few already, but good for a short term visit. Good breakfast options.

Even with earplugs, it was very loud at night due to the honking locomotives, which is why I asked for a new room on the east side. Fortunately, this wish was fulfilled by the really friendly staff, otherwise I would have had to change hotels because I couldn't get a restful sleep. On the east side, let's say it was ok. Unfortunately, the D-Bahn shows little consideration here. The Business Plus rooms facing the inner courtyard do not have better screening either. Original sound from a work colleague. About the hotel: cleanliness was ok. Unfortunately, traces of spilled drinks on the nightstand from the previous person and hair could be found. Otherwise it was clean. The mattresses are super comfortable and the quality of the furnishings is absolutely ok. The breakfast was good and completely sufficient. The staff in the catering area is also very friendly and hard-working. The location is very central and you actually have everything in the area. If this hotel had a different location it would be 4* but because of the train noise throughout the night I won't be coming back and can't recommend it.

Friendly staff, good location right next to the main train station. Unfortunately the room was very warm as there is no AC. The rooms are still in the “old IntercityHotel style”, but the bed was comfortable and there was little noise from the street coming into the room and the room was clean.

First the positive:My (multiple) complaints would be responded to politely, apologized and a portion would be refunded.Now to the hotel:Unfortunately the condition is dismal. There were several defects and some dirt in the first room allocated. The worst thing, however, was the completely leaky window facing the forecourt, where there was a construction site and a lot of people, making it almost impossible to sleep.After complaining, I was given another room, but the hygiene conditions were much worse.The pictures speak for themselves here.Unfortunately, my subsequent complaint was only responded to after I was reminded. I was then offered compensation in the form of a voucher, but this was essentially a customer loyalty measure. However, an equivalent reimbursement was rejected. I then at least took the lower refund.It's a real shame because I've had good experiences with several IntercityHotels so far, both for business and private purposes, but I'm now reconsidering booking there or with the hotel chain again, because such a situation and how to deal with it is unacceptable in need of improvement.
