We were there for breakfast after experiencing a chefstable with Andreas Weidmann the evening before! Great, loving, high-quality selection of everything a hungry breakfast heart needs!! TIP: Egg Benedict with wild herbs!

We celebrated our ruby wedding in Leo on October 21st, 2024. The celebration and the rooms were perfect and very stylishly arranged. At Widmann's Alb. In life we chose a rustic “construction trailer” as a place to stay overnight. It was so beautiful, you can't describe it. We were also lucky that winter showed itself at its best. Since the accommodation is very well equipped and heated, you felt very comfortable. We can also only recommend breakfast and food. To round things off you have to mention the friendly staff.It's really worth the trip.

We had dinner at Löwen. There is also the gourmet restaurant Origin. We can't report anything about the hotel and chalet because we left after eating. The food was very tasty, regional and freshly prepared. The restaurant has the classic Swabian, cozy style. It was very crowded that evening, which pushed the service staff to their limits in places. Have visited the restaurant several times over the year and have never been disappointed.There is a very inviting atmosphere in both the beer garden and the restaurant itself. The service is very attentive (for example, I was given an additional sauce without asking) and the food is regional.The price level is a little higher compared to other restaurants, but it is still justified. All the dishes so far have been very good and I was full every time.It's definitely not a restaurant that you want to go to every day, but if you want to go out for a more upscale meal, it's definitely a very good choice.

Short vacation 4 days, great service, very tasty food. Not far away and yet completely different. We felt very comfortable and even though the hotel was fully booked, everyone was always willing to listen. My room was in the "old" part and could certainly be expanded. But everything you needed was there, good mattress, large shower and clean. If you want, you can find something to complain about everywhere - but you can also just leave it alone. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed the short vacation.

Very nice rooms. Food very good. The service restriction is due to the fact that there is no one in the hotel when you arrive on Tuesday. Room key via code. Otherwise no possibility of getting something to drink. No coffee machine, no drinks machine. And the nearest restaurant is 8km away.Still worth it because of the cuisine.

It is commendable that the origin of the meat is sometimes stated and the beer garden is also cozy.Otherwise the food tastes delicious, but for the price I have eaten better with similar food quality.

Only to the restaurant (Gasthaus Löwen):Beautifully located beer garden in the countryside with a pleasant atmosphere. The prices and presentation suggest a high standard, but this is not entirely fulfilled.We had to wait a very long time before we could order. We were put off several times that the order could only be taken by another waiter, but this took half an hour.The food itself was solid Swabian home cooking, with an emphasis on meat dishes (lamb was unfortunately not available) and Maultaschen. The portions were generous. In terms of taste, it was okay, but without any special notes or outliers (with the exception of the French fries). The salad buffet was rather unimaginative.Coffee was very good; Cake is more of a matter of luck
