As a family we have been coming there during the autumn holidays since 2015. It's a good idea to eat at Zur Jagersruh at the end. Tasty, cozy and not expensive.

Great food, good price-performance ratio! The absolute highlight is the whiskey selection! Disadvantage: I have to order whiskey now 😁 Highly recommended and we will definitely come back when we travel from northern Germany to the Edertal!

We had dinner at Jägersruh and were thrilled. The portions are generous and delicious.Whiskey tasting is also offered every now and then.

Good location with good prices. So it's worth a visit. The schnitzels were large and tasty. Parking is the only thing that poses some difficulties.

We stayed for two nights this weekend. And we agree: it's not the last time we've been here. The food and service are fantastic, the rooms are small but nice (as described on the website). Absolutely top price. Thank you for the great and friendly hospitality

... and then the “little hunger” comes at 4 p.m. At 5:05 p.m. husband/wife is in the Jägersruh, schnitzel with mushroom cream and a Viennese, with 5 Pils and 3 Guinness, and finally 2 espressos, a rum, 20 years old and an Armagnac. Life can be so beautiful, especially with this price-performance ratio and the conversations with Angie and Reiner are included in the price 😋

I was there for dinner with the company. The restaurant is simply furnished but still cozy. The food was super tasty and the portion was large. And the prices are cheap for the portions. The service was very friendly and attentive. We liked it very much. We will definitely come back.

Was there for 4 nights for cycling. Simply equipped but clean and good. Boss and boss super nice and friendly.For the bike there is a shed in which the boss's motorcycle is also stored. The garden hose was removed especially for the really dirty bike. Food and drink was good. I can recommend the steak baguette, which I unfortunately only discovered on the third day. There was also a selection of whiskeys and Guinness on tap.In short: If you like simple and good, this is it“Zur Jägersruh” is in good hands.Oh yes, if you're traveling by bike, bring your fitness ;)Greetings from HanoverWas there again after a long time.The food was very tasty. Be sure to use the fried potatoes with the steak.

I wanted to eat there after a 135 km bike ride. It is advertised as “bikers welcome”. Unfortunately the restaurant was full and the innkeeper told me nicely but definitely that not even an additional meal was possible. I understand that yes. But it was very stupid for me because there are no other restaurants in the village and I can't even go anywhere quickly on my bike. Then there was pure pasta, which luckily was available in the holiday apartment.Still, it's a shame, I was hungry and would have liked to eat a delicious schnitzel.Therefore, unfortunately only three stars and also as a small request, but please not only post this in the restaurant when making a reservation, but also indicate it on the Internet...

Price performance unbeatable. Nice owner who is happy to provide information about his many whiskeys. The steak is also highly recommended here! Always happy to come back.
