Unfortunately for us it was the worst holiday home we have stayed in at the Frankenau holiday park. We rented both units. The equipment was basically okay for us, but we were surprised that there wasn't even an oven in which you could bake rolls (we didn't know that before, probably our fault because we assume a certain standard).In my opinion, the microwave is definitely not suitable as a grill or oven, which we tried without. The air conditioners heat but they blow directly onto the bed, so we got earaches and turned them off from night 2 onwards.When I asked before we arrived, they said that all the basics were there, but there wasn't even a proper spatula, even though the house was described online as "luxurious", but we couldn't see any of that. In our opinion it was a standard holiday home like 80 others.The bathroom was heated by a fan heater so you could either leave it running or leave it cold (we chose option 2). The stove was unusable, at least for us. Someone in our group wanted to boil water for pasta this took over 20 minutes to get hot. We almost always went out to eat. We had to pay €9 for bed linen (we were not allowed to bring our own) and were then allowed to take them in and remove them ourselves.What shocked us was that we paid a total of €65 in electricity costs for 4 days (we were out of the house for at least 5 hours every day and actually only used the wood stove for heating). In our home, we only use €180 for the entire month with a water heater, air conditioning, etc. Here, extrapolated to the month, it would be €500. When I said that the consumption couldn't be that way, I would only reply that we would probably have heated a lot. We paid reluctantly, but we definitely won't be coming back.
