The owner-managed house is quietly located outside the town center on a hill.We had booked a superior double room, the corresponding picture in the Check24 portal showed a couch, our small room with around 20 square meters had 2 uncomfortable rattan chairs. When we asked, the difference between the double room and the superior room was explained to us with the bed size. We don't consider a 160 cm bed size to be "superior". The room is individually furnished, but a rickety, old-fashioned wardrobe, a metal chair at a small desk and a "design shelf" standing on top are unfortunately not of a quality appropriate to the hefty price of almost 200 euros per night! As experienced hotel travelers, we are used to much better!The staff is extremely friendly and some of the clean rooms offer a fantastic view. The breakfast buffet is generous and egg dishes are freshly prepared upon request. In the afternoon, upon request, you can enjoy homemade cakes on the terrace.Conclusion: Room pictures and descriptions in portals need to be more precise, so you don't have to experience disappointments in terms of size and furnishings! The rest is definitely at 4 star level.

Our overnight stay was a birthday present to me in two respects, firstly from those who gave me the gift personally and at the same time from the hotel itself. The whole ambience, along with the service and interior, is simply good for the soul and overall well-being. All I can say is that we always enjoy coming back here.Thank you very much, it was beautiful.

Fine little hotel. Room with a view of the fjord. Extensive, delicious breakfast. The sauna can be booked exclusively and is very nice. Overall we were treated very courteously and friendly. Gladly again.

We found this hotel really exceptionally beautiful. Just the smell when you come in and the surroundings give you that holiday feeling. Our dog felt very comfortable and we can highly recommend this hotel with the great breakfast selection.

On the recommendation of our relatives in Glücksburg, we discovered Aarskogs for our vacation. We two Swiss were so excited that we were even able to extend our stay.We immediately felt welcome in this house thanks to the particularly warm and attentive people with Rainer Malchus and his team, the fantastically comfortable and light-filled room and the wonderful, park-like garden with a view of the fjord. Every morning we really looked forward to the incredibly delicious breakfast and enjoyed the conversations with employees and other guests.Being able to relax and enjoy your time and be pampered is a privilege... being able to feel at home is extraordinary.We would like to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts and hope to see you again soon at Aarskogs (our relatives are also looking forward to our next visit).Yolanda and Urs Peterhans-Windisch

The Aarskogs Boutique Hotel is a beautiful hotel in the middle of nature in a very good location in Glücksburg.The entire hotel; From the reception to the rooms to the breakfast room is beautifully decorated. The fresh, good-smelling bouquets of flowers are also worth highlighting here.The outdoor area of the hotel tops it all off. Green, green, green everywhere you look!At the back is the terrace where you can also have breakfast with a clear view of the greenery and the sea. We really enjoyed one or two drinks here in the evening at sunset.The service at the hotel is great. We even had the opportunity to serve coffee and cake for a birthday on the terrace. Mr. Malchus is an excellent host! We felt comfortable from minute 1.I would particularly like to highlight the service provided by the employees in the morning at breakfast. The freshly prepared egg dishes to order are really a great thing and differ from many other hotels in this respect.The location of the hotel is also very good. The water is within walking distance and there are restaurants, cafes and shopping opportunities in the surrounding area.We had an almost perfect stay and would like to say thank you to the entire Aarskog team!I have one small point of criticism:small outdoor ashtrays would be great.

Nice, small hotel in complete Nordic design. Very personal service.The breakfast is also really good, with coffee and eggs according to individual wishes and the best orange juice I've ever had!For everyone looking for recharging and tranquility in beautiful surroundings.

Wonderfully located hotel on a hill in park-like terrain with exquisite interiors, excellent service and excellent breakfast. Due to the only 16 individually designed rooms, it is very quiet and offers personal service. Highly Recommended!

Very very nice hotel, big bright rooms and fantastic friendly staff. Located between the city center and the beach, which was fine for us.Dogs are also welcome 🥰 can definitely be recommended, this will not be the last time we will use the hotel

We were able to spend 4 days at Aarskogs and were completely thrilled.Great rooms and super attentive staff, but very natural.Also a wonderful location.It was a very nice short vacation for us.
