I booked an overnight stay, but was so blown away by the Allgäu, hotel, cycle paths and weather that I booked another overnight stay.Everyone was very nice and accommodating. Problems were solved quickly (bed in the single room was extremely squeaky),Perfect bike garage! Food very good, wellness really great.

Super nice hotel right on the lake with panoramic views of the mountains.Great culinary cuisine, very varied and very high quality.Nice wellness area but not enough infusions for this price. That's the only drawback but it's also a matter of taste. All in all, we can only recommend a really great hotel. We'll definitely be back. Keep it up

The room with the fuzzy carpet seemed a bit old-fashioned. But everything is in very good condition and we particularly liked the family room with the two separate bedrooms. Buffet in the morning and evening as well as main courses were also very good. What's also great and very rare is that you can charge your electric car with up to 22kW AC for free, using clean electricity (partly of course) from the in-house large photovoltaic system on the roof. Service was also very attentive and top. Wellness was also nice and fine, massage was also above average professional and adapted to the needs. Fitness with good, clean and modern equipment. And the icing on the cake was that we were able to easily and spontaneously buy a large piece of our favorite cheese at a fair price and thus extend the holiday feeling. Next time Allgäu I'd love to go there again!

On the way back from Italy, after a long journey, we finally reached the Hotel Sommer at 9:10 p.m. We actually wanted to arrive at 4 p.m. to make a stop here to meet up with friends and relax a bit. But unfortunately the toll systems on the Brenner had some failures that day and a few new construction sites were set up. The result: over 5 hours of standstill at the burner. I had already called the hotel on the way and announced that we would be late and that we would not be able to keep our table reservation in the hotel restaurant for 7 p.m.It also turned out that I had made a mistake when reserving the room and accidentally only specified one person to stay overnight. According to the receptionist, “a little bit would be added” to the room price of 215 euros. Understood.When we finally arrived we were greeted very friendly and immediately asked if there was anything else to eat for us. The lady quickly went into the kitchen to ask. Immediately afterwards, the answer came directly, loudly and clearly to us from next door: “The kitchen is closed!”Hungry and tired, we sat down at the bar and looked disappointed at the sign that said the restaurant was actually open until 9:30 p.m. Well... unfortunately there wasn't even a cold snack... not even some bread and cheese? Instead we had something from the snack machine and we were annoyed by the lack of flexibility in the kitchen.However, we experienced more flexibility - especially when it came to pricing - the next day at reception when we were told the price for one night: 340 euros. So a plus of 125 euros for the one additional person. Sure, the price also includes wellness etc. - but unfortunately we weren't able to use it in the slightest. But is 125 euros (we remember the information on the phone) “a little more”?After a few heated words at reception, we were given a 10 percent discount and always emphasized that these were the prices.Dear Hotel Sommer, dear owners Lerch: we are disappointed by this inflexibility and this hospitality. Be it in the kitchen in the evening or at the reception in the morning... and no, 10 percent unfortunately doesn't make much of a difference here.How about a voucher for next time instead? Or a goodie that doesn't cost much but symbolically represents something? Or that at least someone responsible is present on site when you ask about him/her? It doesn't take much imagination.So we can say with great certainty that we will definitely not be your guests again when we visit our circle of friends in and around Füssen.And although I'm not a fan of unfounded claims, I woke up in the morning with three small, itchy bites on my stomach. At least I can say with certainty: it wasn't my wife.

Good dayWe are spoiled by South Tyrol and the Black Forest, where you can't keep up.I'll give another feedback where you don't ask anymore below: what is the added value of the morning post for your guests? It says the same thing every day. It would be better to give tips for excursions or other highlights (e.g. boat trips). But reading every day that you have a bike rental and a wine bar or which wellness appointments are still available isn't really of interest.

Hello Lerch-Zwicker family & hotel director Lucas Böhle and team,We would be happy to leave a review.We had room 82 for 11 days. It was nice, clean and cozy.However, we would have liked there to be a small coffee machine so that we could have enjoyed a coffee - especially in the morning after getting up or swimming.The breakfast and dinner were excellent. Nothing was missing!The wellness area was also excellent. It was great fun, among other things, to use the heated outdoor pool in the morning. We have never found this in any hotel before.We would like to highlight your staff!Your housekeeping attendant went to extraordinary lengths to maintain cleanliness and order. A top performance!The service staff in the restaurant area should also be highlighted. It was nice, accommodating and always tried to accommodate your every wish. With one exception: When we arrived in the afternoon - after a long journey - we would have liked to have a drink and something to eat. But the restaurant was closed (obviously for dinner preparations), we couldn't sit outside because of the weather and there was no one at the bar. Their receptionists apologized, but it wasn't satisfactory.We will certainly recommend your house to others.

Superior room with deficiencies - will not come backI stayed in a superior room. The room itself was spacious and stylishly furnished, with around 35 m² it offered enough space. However, I noticed a few negative points that marred the experience.The room had a strange layout: a larger sofa stood by the door and window, while the room opposite the sofa remained empty. Despite a beautiful picture, the space seemed unused. A larger TV would have fit well here.The TV was a point of criticism anyway - it was quite small and mounted firmly opposite the bed, with no way to adjust it. This meant that you could only watch TV from bed, which significantly limited comfort, especially if you wanted to relax on the sofa.I found this solution unacceptable for a room in this price range.Another point was the lack of air conditioning.The room was long and narrow, which caused heat to build up in warmer temperatures, especially since the bed was at the end of the room and there was no draft. I can well imagine that it will be uncomfortably warm in summer.The breakfast was good and sufficient, there was nothing to complain about. However, my dinner was less enjoyable. I had schnitzel with fries, but the quality didn't meet my expectations. The schnitzel was strawy and the breading was not well processed. The fries were floury - disappointing at a price of over 20 euros.Another drawback was the view. My superior room didn't have a nice view, but looked onto the balconies of the neighboring wing.In a hotel near the lake, I expect at least some rooms to have a view of the lake. This is also unsatisfactory in this price category.In addition, I found the checkout time at 10:30 a.m. no longer appropriate.Overall, the Hotelsommer is a large hotel with many rooms and a large breakfast and dining room.Although the room was attractively designed, in my opinion the price-performance ratio was not right.Regular price approx. 240€ / night with breakfast and sole useI will not be returning, on this trip I had some rooms with cheaper prices without any complaints

Very nice and well-kept hotel with friendly and attentive service. We stayed at the Hotel Füssen with our two Sheltie ladies for 4 days in August. The rooms are spacious, clean and modernly furnished. The ambience throughout the hotel is modern, warm and comfortable. The staff is super friendly and listens to your every wish. The breakfast is excellent, varied and versatile. The menus, which changed every evening, were also a treat for the palate. The spa area is beautifully designed. The fact that there is an indoor and additional outdoor pool is also a great thing.Finally, I can only warmly recommend this hotel. We were definitely not there for the last time.

In total I stayed at the Hotel Sommer for five nights and felt very comfortable.In addition to the beautiful location on Lake Forggensee and the many different options in and around the hotel, the atmosphere during these days was wonderful.Of course, this includes the employees, who are very courteous and helpful. The restaurant team was absolutely great every day and there are also very good employees at the reception who are available to answer any questions.The restaurant itself was varied every evening with its food in all areas (meat, fish, vegetarian) - a pleasure - and especially the Italian dessert selection on one evening. I didn't miss anything at breakfast either and the products were of high quality and prepared to a high standard.Thanks also to the spa team, which I would like to praise again, especially for the foot relaxation zone massage.The hotel is otherwise well maintained and clean and the rooms are spacious enough. Only air conditioning would be ideal at high temperatures. However, since my room wasn't directly on the south side, I didn't have any problems.Overall, a recommendable, family hotel to feel good and a very relaxing holiday 🌞

Quiet location by the lake. Located directly on the cycle path, boat station 100 m away, swimming in the lake with sunbathing lawn 200 m away. Good parking options outside or in the underground car park. Lockable bicycle room with the possibility of charging bicycle batteries. Quiet and family atmosphere. Attentive and friendly service. Very rich and tasty breakfast buffet with good coffee. Very good, varied dinner without any rush and good service, even if the dining room is full. Good wine list. Rooms tastefully furnished, comfortable and large beds. Friendly room service. Cleanliness good everywhere. Bar area could be a little bigger. A solid launch outside would also be good. Maybe it would also be good if the manager would visit the guests in the restaurant in the evening. But because of the pleasant, personal and quiet atmosphere and what is important to us in a hotel was tip top, we felt very comfortable and would come back at any time.
