The Flensburg youth hostel completely convinced us: clean room with its own shower and toilet, beautiful view of the sports facilities and delicious food. Particularly noteworthy is the friendly staff. We'd love to come back!

Unfortunately, this is the second youth hostel that doesn't appeal to me. 1. Just like this one from Dresden, it is very loud in the hallways and there is zero consideration. It wouldn't be a bad idea to have a security guard do tours of the floors. 2. According to your statements, a shared room with m+f is allowed. Irresponsible in this day and age. As a woman, this means spending the night in a small space with several men at your own risk. I think it is not only risky but also attacks the dignity of women. Women who let this happen are tired of life. There is either a women's room or just a men's room. Or do you want to save? But you're saving at the wrong end if others could pay with their lives. 3. If you take bread rolls with you, you have to pay extra; this is not included in the breakfast.4. The beds are cots. Far too small for adults. I think it's a shame to set up bunk beds even for adults. Unfortunately the whole stay was an imposition. I have now booked a hostel for Christmas/New Year with breakfast in a women's room. Same price, same area. And goodbye youth hostel.

We were there twice. Both times the floors of the rooms were very dusty and crumbly. Otherwise there is nothing to complain about. The employees are very friendly and happy to provide information.

A very nice youth hostel, nice food and a friendly team. The youth hostel is right next to the people's park, so if you want to experience a bit of nature, this is the right place for you.

Really good experience - the staff are nice and helpful, and are just as happy to practice their Danish as we are our German (and otherwise they also speak English). The food was really good and varied, with a good opportunity to get a delicious packed lunch for lunch (we were there for 3 days), and the rooms nice and with good bathroom facilities. The hostel is located in a quiet park area (there were no activities at the Stadium while we were there), and i.a. a large supermarket close by, from where there are 3 buses to the center, one of which goes directly to Phänomenta, where we had a fantastic experience one of the days. We would love to come again!

Nice location on the edge of a forest, at the end of the road, and yet relatively close to the fjord. Modernized rooms, small and functional, friendly service, a boiled egg on Sundays with the solid, delicious breakfast buffet. For friends of meeting young families, cyclists, hikers, non-profit clubs and associations, etc., full of life. Nice!

This youth hostel impresses with its good food. There is a rich breakfast buffet with fresh rolls, muesli, fruit and a variety of bread toppings. The warm dinner was also very good. The staff impresses with their friendliness and is always in a good mood. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Located directly at the Volkspark (forest, playgrounds, relaxation points). Supermarket for supplies 150m away. Breakfast has everything you need to start the day. Dinner was a one-size-fits-all meal plus salad bar and dessert, completely fine.

We really liked the Flensburg youth hostel! The staff were consistently nice and the room was clean and big enough. The children's playroom was great, but it needed to be sorted.The youth hostel borders a forest and it takes about 15 minutes to get to the city by bus. There are Rewe and Rossmann in the immediate vicinity. The dinner was very tasty (although not a buffet, as I knew it from another DJH).There is fast internet throughout the DJH.What bothered me a bit was that our family room was on a corridor with the rooms for school classes and unfortunately it was noisy until 10:45 p.m. in the evening.I can recommend the youth hostel. :)

Everything was very clean and friendly. Delicious varied food, very friendly staff! The outdoor area is wonderful! Indoor activities are very limited: table football costs extra and was broken, the light in the table tennis room didn't work properly.
