I read so many good reviews for this hotel, and when we walked in, it was very nice. But our bed and pillows were hard, the sheets were scratchy, the shower partician really didn’t work well so showering was freezing, the towels were thin and felt like sand paper. It was not a comfortable hotel at all! Definitely not 4 stars. I think the only thing it has going for it is the breakfast, which was abolustely delicious. Maybe we should have had dinner as well. We won’t be back.

Nice hotel, very nice service. The location of the hotel is great, although it is right on a busy street, you are immediately in the beautiful city center etc.The breakfast buffet was great and rich. The half board menu was varied, there were always several options to choose from, so there was something for every taste. You could tell that the quality of the food was good, but for us personally it was a little too lightly seasoned - but that's simply a matter of taste. The cleanliness of the room - at first it seemed very clean, but since I had to crawl around under the bed several times because of my child, I found e.g. oropax that didn't belong to us (but at least no dust). It can be overlooked, otherwise it's absolutely ok.The room was nice and big and despite being right next to the elevator we didn't hear anything about it.Although the hotel is not necessarily suitable for small children (simply because wellness and small children contradict each other) - there was still a room for the children to play. And the whole staff was very child-friendly.The service staff in the restaurant are very friendly, understanding and concerned about the well-being of the guest. The reception staff are very friendly, appear professional, but still have a sense of humor.Hotel generally flexible (of course according to the conditions specified) - we spontaneously left earlier, that was no problem at all. Thanks for everything, it was a nice (not exactly relaxing, haha, but that's not the hotel's fault) vacation despite the child with mood swings.Maybe we'll come back when the child is older.

Nice hotel with nice rooms in a very central location with friendly staff. Unfortunately, the location also leads to a lot of traffic noise. OK with the windows closed, but if you like to sleep with the window open you will have a problem, at least on the street side. The breakfast buffet is awesome. If we vacation in Füssen again, we'll be happy to come back.

We booked an overnight stay at the Hotel Schlosskrone at short notice on our return journey from Italy in mid-September (directly through the hotel at the cheapest price). The reception was extremely friendly and we were able to eat at the hotel despite arriving late. After advice from the very friendly waiter, my wife had a very good schnitzel and I had a truly sensational roast pork! The alpine furnished room with a view of the High Castle was spacious, very clean and, despite the central location in Füssen, absolutely quiet with the windows closed. But the breakfast was even better with a large selection of baked goods from the in-house bakery/pastry shop, an even larger selection of sausages and cheese, white sausages, eggs, bacon, sparkling wine and sweets (chocolate fountain with strawberries)...We have rarely experienced such a good and rich hotel breakfast (only the cappuccino from the fully automatic machine wasn't quite as tasty). The Hotel Schlosskrone is an absolute recommendation!

We stayed at the hotel schlosskrone for our family trip to Neuschwanstein castle. First the positives..Positive-Amazing Location nearby a Netto and restaurants.-mini fridge in the room to put our drinks-very nice gentleman behind the hotel bar at Chili’s-the breakfast buffet is really goodNegatives-Customer service at the front desk. The older lady behind the desk refused to speak English even though she knows English, because she ended up switching to English after a difficult interaction. She Made it very hard to communicate on purpose. If this was anywhere else in Germany I would understand that I am expected to speak German. But when you are in a big tourist location and only their for 3 days I expect the hotel receptionist who knows English to make it easier to communicate.-the parking at the hotel or lack of parking is a nightmare! Showed up with a reservation and parked downstairs in the basement garage. I was told at the reception desk to move my car because all spaces below the hotel were booked. Which I counted over 10 empty spots. I was told I had to book this in advance. I was not given the option to book when I arrived. I was told to park down the street which is like a 5 minute walk. With bags or any luggage it’s terrible. Then it was not explained that I was going to be charged for hotel parking regardless. That I should not have paid for that parking garage down the street which I did. So I got charged for two parkings.-cleanliness of the room. For a 4 star hotel the room was a bit dirty. Mold in the shower. The hand sink faucet had what looked like green mold coming out of it. Underneath the sofa bed we had dust bunnies (jack rabbits). Not very clean. For the price and service I will not be staying here again when we come back to ski later on this year.

I stayed in this hotel for a week for work, the rooms are not bad, but the television is fixed too high, not inclined towards the bed, which makes viewing it not comfortable. There was a very strong odor coming out of the bathroom sink. Besides this it is a 4 star Hotel, does it provide an internet connection of 4mbps?!?! I had a hard time both working and watching Netflix. One of the mornings during breakfast, half of the things that were supposed to be prepared were missing.. In my opinion, it is not worth the price, the value for money cannot be compared. Parking costs €11 per day, and is quite narrow, but with a Skoda Octavia I managed to get in with a few more maneuvers. The location is practically in the center, which is a strong point, but is also a weak point due to noise.

This place looks good on paper but will not resolve any issues with you in person just hoping you pay the bill and get the hell out.I was the person that took 8 members of my family on a business trip to Germany 4 cities 12 days with the most 5 days in this town and this hotel. When we got to all of our rooms the rooms were warm so all of us looked to turn the air on and could not get it to come on, So I went down and asked what we were doing wrong, and they informed us the A/C was turned off for the season and with that statement took my ability to make myself and my family comfortable, Open the windows we were told and like the other current reviews you had to hear all the traffic and late night partiers and argument's right out you window or you could sweet in your sleep this was the choice we were given. My son's room had the smell of raw sewage coming from the shower drain when they were informed of the smell in the room not the location of the smell, they showed up with some bleach poured in down the shower drain put an air-wick fresher in the bathroom and said that's the best they can do but no one told them it was the shower drain so they knew this was a problem before and rented the room anyway not caring that smell would make you want to throw-up and give you headaches and according to the front desk staff no other rooms were available so my son took wet towel to put in the drain and showered in my room. This level of greed for your money and not the comfort level of your guest in your hotel speaks volumes to myself and my family the manager is also the owner of the hotel so he knew of the concerns we had because his staff was told and they relayed to me that he would do something about either the accommodations or the bill, when it can time to check out we had to leave a day earlier than planned do to know one getting any sleep from the noise from the main hi-way and the continues smell in my son's room. So, at checkout thinking they would do something nice in return for all of the issue we had I been informed that owner could not be contacted and there is an 80% charge for the rooms (4 of them) for an early check out 1 day with no help for on the bill at all for the other issues we had,So, I told the staff what I thought of their owner and left, about 30 minutes later the Owner ( who could not be contacted) calls me up and did not know how to run my credit card and if I did not return and pay the bill in full, he would call the police and have me arrested I did return paid my bill in full with 0 help from the owner that was not even trying to make it right and to top thing off he tried to keep my credit card because (HE) did not think my signature match the back of my card with the receipt I signed, he was very strongly informed by me that would be a very bad thing to do in my current state of mind he gave me my card I left and will not ever be back. This is my personal experience with this hotel and its staff and owner and the lack of caring for their customers is why I am posting this review choose this hotel at your own risk.

Location was good. Lots of shops and food nearby. However, the service in the hotel was bad. Had a group of 8 of us in 3 rooms. The "king" size beds are not king size. It's 2 twin beds pushed together and you get 2 twin size blankets to go with it. They cut off the ac for the "season" forcing the windows to be open, even in the rain. We didn't think the Open windows would be so bad until all the trucks, construction vehicles, drunks, and fights occur right outside the windows. My wife and I had the pleasure of having a room that smelt like raw sewage coming up from the shower drain. We were informed that the hotel was full and couldn't move us to a different room. We were also told this was not a normal occurance. However, the housekeeping staff showed up instantly, chemicals in hands, and went straight to the shower drain to dump the chemicals in (without me giving a thought as to where it coming from). With all of these issues we wanted to talk to the manager/owner who said he would be available the day before, then we were told he wouldn't be. Upon our decision to check out early due to these issues and concerns, we were also informed that there was nothing they would be willing to do and that they would charge us 80% per room on top for the early checkout.Avoid this place like the plauge. The hotel staff doesn't seem to care about resolving issues and the hotel manager/owner makes himself unavailable after being informed of issues for 5 days and saying he would be available. Save your money or get a better value somewhere else.

They cut the A/C, so the windows were required to be open over the main street. We had to hear every drunk and every construction truck going by. No one got any sleep. One of the rooms smelled like sewage the entire time we were there, and the only thing they did was throw some chemicals down the drain and left. It did not help at all. The food was okay at best and bad at average. The front desk was unhelpful the entire time, and when we went to speak to the owner, as they said he would be available, he refused to show. When we went to check out early, they refused any compensation for the rooms and wanted to charge a cancelation fee to leave. Do not go to this place if you have any other options. And there are other options in the 10 hotels across the street.
