I can warmly recommend the guesthouse. I spent a weekend here in the summer. The location is perfect, very close to the castle. In addition, the service was very nice and helpful for us :)

We really liked it, we felt very welcome. When we checked in we were given some interesting information about King Ludwig II. The breakfast was lovingly prepared. You had a good view of both castles. We were allowed to leave our car parked during the excursion.

I warmly recommend Pension Albrecht. There is a quiet atmosphere in the guesthouse. You can relax from everyday life in the picturesque surroundings. Alpine Lake and the castle are very close, so you can make the most of your day there. The service is also very helpful – you can rely on that. I hope I come back soon!

The location of the hotel was at a close distance from the castle, so we had a good view of the castle in some rooms. The owner of the hotel was very nice and provided a complete breakfast.

Rooms are dated. Floors creak enormously. When the guests in the room above you start moving, you anxiously look to see if the ceiling is coming down. I can say that it is not good for your night's sleep.From Room 1 you have a view of the castle, beautiful! But the floor of the balcony swelled a lot when we stood on it.The furnishings of the rooms are outdated, a bit musty. Sofas are sagging, beds and mattresses are past their best years. Bathroom is reasonable. Everything works, but that's about it.WiFi is wobbly, the connection drops frequently, and the speed is very limited.Breakfast was well prepared, the table is set when you come downstairs, plenty of choice and good coffee.Location with private parking is perfect for visiting the castles as long as you can live with dated accommodation.

We ordered a room with a view of the castle - we received a room with a view of the tree and the roof. The room is aging. Quite dirty and a lot of mold. The toilet flush doesn't work, the shower hose is very worn out, and the bathroom lighting only works halfway. The bed is quite worn out, the bedding is very worn. The blinds in the windows are not working - there is no way to adjust the brightness. Wifi is practically non-existent. I don't recommend it - the price is not adequate to the services offered, even if it is close to the castle.

Very cozy, excellent location (calm, beautiful view) and very nice service.
There was no info on the booking about road closure, so we spent more than 0,5h in this village looking for the road because Google and Waze were also confused 😕

I can highly recommend this accommodation. Unfortunately, due to my aunt's physical limitations, we were unable to travel at short notice. The daughter and mother, as hosts of the Pension Albrecht, reacted particularly understandingly and kindly. A rebooking was possible without any problems. I look forward to welcoming Pension Albrecht & team again soon.

Oh dear, where to start. Run down building in what seems to be a good location as it overlooks Neuschwanstein castle. However ... there is absolutely nothing at all to do there in the evening. Nothing. No pubs, cafes etc. …

We are delighted with this guest house. The very nice owners of the house, who speak Russian, told the story of this. 1901. Very high quality, delicious breakfast.They offer any help. An old sweet home that you want to return to. We were there in the winter, so we took the unpleasant impressions and photos home with us as souvenirs.

Very lovingly run guesthouse, courteous staff and beautiful, classically furnished rooms that make you feel at home. We live in room number 1, the largest room with a balcony front and a view directly of the fairytale castle. The breakfast is rich, fresh and prepared with a lot of love. Perfect basis for an exciting day of excursions to explore the countryside and area.Zoran gave us a warm welcome and gave us a little history lesson with wonderful details about the Pension Albrecht (former hunting lodge) and the history of everything around it. And of course a brilliant tip for dinner at the Croatian “Restaurant Croatica” Thank you, Julia & Benni

The rooms are a little dated (especially the bathroom) but the location is extraordinary and the view of the castle from the balcony is fantastic.Classic and correct breakfast.
