We had a wonderful holiday at Landhaus Berger. The rooms are nicely decorated. The view from the balcony was beautiful. The peace and quiet was wonderful. There was everything you needed at the breakfast buffet. Every morning there were large bowls of fruit salad, freshly prepared daily. Many thanks to the staff. Everyone at Haus Berger was very attentive.Thank you😀

Hops by the lake is an absolute recommendation. The location is perfect, swimming, shopping and hiking as well as sights in the immediate vicinity. Max is a great host. We felt at home right from the start. He gave us very good recommendations and helped where he could.The breakfast is great and the staff/service is really great!We'd love to come back!

Beautiful location. Beautiful view over the lake. Breakfast is very compleet, especially when you take into account the few rooms they have. Check in time of before 5pm can be an issue. The owner told me he is not in for a key safe. But, not as what I see in an other review here. If for example you are in a traffic jam and cannot make 5pm. You can call him to arrange something. No real experience but i asked him because we want to visit this place again!

Our stay was amazing!!The accommodation was clean and comfortably furnished and the hosts are great!The location was also perfect - quiet but central.We can highly recommend the apartment and the hosts.Keep it up!

The positive first:The location and surroundings of the Berger holiday home are very beautiful and definitely worth a trip.During our short vacation we stayed in one of the holiday apartments in the neighboring building.The holiday apartment itself was relatively large but clearly showing its age, very dark and musty.A renovation would be appropriate.Feel-good factor is not there for us.At a price of €160 (with dog) per night, you can expect more.The cleanliness of the apartment also left something to be desired.Smaller arrangements regarding breakfast or key handover with the host were generally difficult.Asking whether you were satisfied with your stay or had a nice holiday, wishing you a safe journey home - little things - nothing.Therefore no recommendation from our side!

Don’t book here! We were going to arrive way ahead in time but there was a problem with the car rental and we got the car two hours late. Even though the description of the hotel in booking says “GENERALLY check is not accepted after 17:00” the owner didn’t allowed us to check in (which was going to be around 17:20, so it’s not that terrible), we explained everything but he said strictly no, even though it was due to a problem that didn’t depend on us. We offered to pick up the key in other location but he said that it was impossible. So overall he was not helpful at all, and of course they charged us the full amount with no refund at all. NOT RECOMMENDED

We spent a fantastic week in the country house in February. Magnificent view of the mountains and Lake Hopfensee. The tips for excursions and restaurants were absolutely perfect. The breakfast buffet offered a wide selection, wishes were fulfilled, and the kitchen staff and service were also very helpful. The kitchen on the floor for the guests was great, so we didn't have to go out to eat every evening. Hopfen am See and the country house would like to visit again next year.

Very nice and loving hosts who will help you with everything and are available at any time.The breakfast offers a wide variety of delights and every guest will find something to suit their taste.The view of the mountains and the lake is breathtaking and makes many people dream.We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back. :)

The booking at Landhaus Berger was more random and turned out to be a hit. We felt more than welcome as a family with kids and our parents. The breakfast was delicious and the quality of the products was very high. The rooms are very clean and equipped with everything you need. We also had the opportunity to take our dog with us. It is understandable that this naturally results in additional cleaning costs. We also remember the “friendly” treatment of us as guests as positive things. Starting with excursion tips and ending with dinner reservations. If we are looking for accommodation in the region again, Max & Team will certainly be the first choice. Thank you for the lovely 3 days. We'll meet again....

The tail wags the dog here! I should have read other guests' comments carefully beforehand! Then I wouldn't be surprised at the way we deal with customers (tone of voice, check-in by 5 p.m. at the latest and out by 10 a.m., you can bring your own toilet paper to the apartment upon request). Oh, according to the booking, we were never there because the owners “cancelled” the overnight stay… that’s what self-reflection looks like ;)

An absolute insider tip in Hopfen am See (Füssen). We received a very friendly welcome from Max and were then given a well-equipped apartment that was sparkling clean. We also had a small balcony which even offered us a view of the lake. The next morning we were warmly greeted at breakfast, the red carpet was rolled out for us and we were able to enjoy an absolutely brilliant breakfast buffet. In addition to various cereals, several rolls, sausage, cheese, fruit, tomatoes/mozzarella, juice and the like, there was a cool coffee machine which dispensed several coffee and cocoa specialties at the push of a button.As you could tell, we were absolutely satisfied and will definitely come back

We had apartment number 7 and were absolutely thrilled. The apartment was very clean, the kitchen was fully equipped. You could make full use of the wonderfully large covered balcony even in bad weather. The view of the lake and mountains is magnificent. The bathroom is very large and there is enough space for utensils. The beds are super comfortable, as long as you like a slightly firmer mattress. Ideal for us. Max Berger is super nice and answered all of our questions and fulfilled our wishes.
