For the Tegernsee region...No.It's a shame, a very unkempt place including toilets and showers. The groundskeeper is a grump and that's what it looks like in the registration office.It's just not fun.

Minus 5 stars!!!!!It's been a long time since I cleaned anything. Stink in the toilets accordingly. Disgusting. An insult to the guests! A shame for the operators. Ugh devil 😈

We have been here several times and always enjoyed it. The location is great, bus station nearby. Endless cycle paths/hiking paths. This time we are not so satisfied. I come from the catering industry and have successfully run my business for almost 40 years. The most important thing is friendliness, good service and, above all, cleanliness. Of course, no operator can do anything for “dirty people”, but if the toilet is still dirty (feces) on the third day, that makes me annoyed. Not particularly good at the women's shower either. Old is not a problem but it has to be clean. Electricity is also adventurous. The fuse probably blows once a day. We only use a refrigerator and a coffee machine. Please, dear operator, work on it, we would like to come here with pleasure for many years to come. By the way, the Rainerstuben restaurant is highly recommended.

A simple campsite, okay for us to stay overnight. Lots of long-term campers, but no problem. Food in the restaurant was very good. Unfortunately no rolls on site. Distance to Tegernsee is ideal.

The reception was somewhat “dignified”. But we were allowed to choose a parking space. We stood at the back on the freshly mown meadow with a beautiful panorama. The power box was locked, but other campers told us that the groundskeeper comes by once a day and plugs in the cables provided!? We've never had that before, but there was actually electricity in the car "at some point". Sanitary completely ok. Supply/disposal, well. Restaurant on site super friendly and delicious! Highly recommended! We would come back just for that!

The arrival was a bit chaotic. Narrow access, and the waiting area is already full of waiting motorhomes/caravans. At the same time some wanted to leave. Backed out of the driveway again. When we finally arrived we wanted to register, we had reserved. We were sent to look for a spot and remember the electrical box number. A map would have been very helpful if you were there for the first time. We wandered around the area somewhat haphazardly - like all of our neighbors. When we registered again, we were sent to the place; someone was supposed to come at short notice to supply the electricity. That worked great too. Unfortunately there was no information about the place. We then explored everything on our own. We only found out on the last day that there were also rolls at the place. Too bad.The place was on grass, which was very nice. However, it was so uneven that we couldn't extend the supports. But in the end it wasn't that bad. The sanitary facilities are getting old. A breath of fresh air would be good. But it was actually clean - so ok.You can walk to Rottach Egern - a beautiful place. Beautiful bike tours possible. The dog beach is very nice. When we left we met the daughter - she was very nice and helpful. If we had checked in with her, we would certainly have gotten more information.All in all we will go there again. Now we know our way around the place. Nevertheless, it would be nice if there was a little more service and modernization.

So, I can't say anything negative about the campsite. The groundskeeper was great, the long-term campers were friendly and we were able to choose our own pitch. The campsite is beautifully located and quiet and it is very easy to get to and around Lake Tegernsee from there by bike.And a little note to those who are upset about the sanitary facilities here:The sanitary facilities are always as clean as they are left by the campers. ☝️

Beautiful, natural place, free choice of plots surrounded by meadows and mountains. We didn't have a Schuko adapter with us, the nice lady at the reception helped us out. The lake with a dog beach can be reached quickly. Bakers, butchers and shops nearby. The Rainerstüble The square offers great food, typical Bavarian home cooking and Tegernsee on tap at fair prices. We'll be back.

The only campsite on Tegernsee. You should have a bike with you to get to the lake. You can choose your spot. There was still space even in high season as there is still a large meadow. But be careful: if it has rained it might be difficult here... we saw the deep furrows from tires. Otherwise clean sanitary facilities but more suitable for smaller people. The shower head is fixed to the wall at a height of approx. 1.70 m. At 1.84 m tall, it is a bit awkward to shower.The restaurant on site is great. Delicious food and delicious beer. The host is great. We were warmly welcomed at reception.Disadvantage: The place is difficult or impossible to reach both by phone and online. Something should be done urgently. 4 emails were not answered. Therefore only 4 stars. My problem was solved, but through many detours. Please change something about that.

A large campsite with many permanent guests. Even so, there is plenty of room for arriving caravans. An excellent restaurant that cooks until 8:30 p.m. They have a Thai cookbook and on the menu they also have Thai curry and wok. We had a delicious curry!

Actually a nice camping spot. the reception was a bit rough. We could choose a place where there was still something free and there was also a power station. Unfortunately, some people didn't stick to laying out tarpaulins. Too bad. This is how the meadow is destroyed. There were mobile homes on the meadow and there was gravel in front of them. I would have done it differently, unfortunately the space was such that we were standing on the lawn with the motorhome and the table and chairs were on the gravel. Plumbing is a bit old-fashioned but clean. Restaurant on the square is recommended, delicious food and good prices. The place is good for exploring Lake Tegernsee and the surrounding area. Shopping on the square (as it says on the internet) no longer exists. An Aldi is 200 m away.
