What a beautiful place with a wonderful view over Lake Tegernsee. The beautiful terrace, beautifully decorated, attracted us. We came without a reservation, so there was no space outside and we were shown into a small parlor. Not particularly friendly in my opinion.The order was taken and delivered quickly. The service was professionally distant, a bit too much for my taste.The food was beautifully prepared and very tasty. Some of it was lukewarm and (venison goulash) was very well fried. But the taste is very good.

Extremely friendly, attentive service from everyone atFreihaus Brenner. Care is taken to ensure that the guest does not wait long or that anything is missing.The food is fantastic of good quality.And when the weather is nice, the view is of course fantastic.

As a wedding photographer, I was able to accompany a wonderful celebration in this restaurant on Lake Tegernsee and I was totally thrilled! The location offers an unparalleled view of the lake - a picturesque backdrop that makes every photo special. The atmosphere was simply magical!The kitchen was also impressive across the board. The dishes were not only excellent in taste, but also prepared with great attention to detail. Fresh ingredients and a harmonious combination of dishes made the wedding menu a real highlight. The service was first class: attentive, warm and professional.I can highly recommend Freihaus Brenner for couples who are looking for an unforgettable wedding location. A perfect combination of breathtaking views, excellent cuisine, accommodation options, and a dedicated team!

A Bavarian dream! The food was wonderful and the service in the restaurant was perfect. The holiday apartment directly under the roof has a picture-perfect view of Lake Tegernsee. We'll be back ;-)

We were here againGreat restaurant in a charming location. There is something on the menu for every taste. Delicious fish, Bavarian roast pork and sweet desert - we really enjoyed it. Plus the friendly, professional service. We'll be back 😊

One of our absolute favorite restaurants. Very nice location with panoramic views of the lake and mountains. Varied menu, especially the crustaceans in November are recommended. Very friendly owners who always look after the well-being of their guests. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

The location with a view of Lake Tegernsee is fantastic.Unfortunately the service on 9/5/24 was not:Despite a table reservation, an absolutely unfriendly reception from a blonde, middle-aged lady. Placement on the terraceDrizzling rain - without bringing a parasol.Only after repeated requests was the table set.Roast pork was "off", and that on a Thursday at 6:00 p.m. in Bavaria... a "bravo" for logistics.Table reservation in a very nice room on September 8th, 2024.Ordered open red wine is delivered to the neighboring table; After 10 minutes the service notices the mistake and puts the glasses on our table...a hygienic no go.This time roast pork was available; the quality of the potato dumplingsHowever, they are on the level of Pfanni dumplings, if they aren't exactly those...Chef or owner only makes honors at selected tables, some guests are apparently a little more equal, demandwith the gentleman regarding dumplings remains inconclusive.The absolute bright spot on both dates was a middle-aged waitercalled Günter, who always tried to use charm and witto defuse bankruptcies.Therefore: One star for the view and the room anda shining star for Günter...

Beautiful restaurant with a wonderful view. Unfortunately the service staff were arrogant and unfriendly. If you don't come with designer clothes, you will be served accordingly.
