Not a normal hotel as you would expect. Unfortunately, there are always only students at the reception and they can't necessarily help. There are no parking options and there is no discounted ticket for a nearby underground car park. Furthermore, there is NO breakfast as usual, you have to choose from 5 menus in the morning and that's all you get. What's more, you sit for breakfast in the hotel's own supermarket.Room was great, service unfortunately not.

The worst service ever. Don’t book this hotel. Nobody is there if you arrive after 6 p.m.; no-one picks up the phone when you call after 6 because your plane was delayed. It seems English-speaking people are particularly targeted with bad service. As a resident, I am ashamed and frustrated that I recommended this hotel to dear friends. I will never do that again. The staff’s conduct was unfriendly, racist, misogynist and highly inappropriate. They repeatedly called us stupid as we allegedly booked two rooms instead of two nights (which is almost impossible to do by mistake). They charged us two rooms and refused to correct the mistake that occurred in the computer system. A nightmare. It stole us 4 hours of our stay in Berlin and left a very bad taste.

Location - outstanding!A hotel that simply works. Price-performance unbeatable. You can take the subway directly from the hotel exit and reach Ku-Damm in just a few stops. Or you go directly to Potsdamer Platz and from there to the Brandenburg Gate etc.Rooms are modern, clean and well furnished. Reception always manned. What more could you want??

Perfectly centrally located hotel/apartment. Very modern, clean with triple glazing blocking all noise and keeping the place warm. Very close to Potsdam Plaza and 50 metres from a subway. Staff are responsive and helpful.  …

Great location, wonderful rooms, everything is there: forks, glasses, water, fridge, hair shampoo, body wash, lotion. The best hotel we stayed in Berlin!

The location and accommodation in general is very very good.I was visiting the city for the Marathon. I asked well in advance if it was possible to have a shower or some facility to shower after running, and they told me that they would do everything possible to make that happen. A few weeks before, I wrote to them again and they only gave me the possibility of a “late check out” until 2:00 p.m., to which I responded that I didn't know how long it would take to finish running and return to the hotel depending on the number of people. people. On the same day of the marathon we asked the same question and what they offered us was the same, to which I responded the same. At the end of the race I returned to the hotel to collect the suitcases that I had left at reception. I arrived at 1:56 p.m. and they told me that it was impossible to have a shower even if it was 10 minutes.I understand that it is not easy to manage these situations but I think a little flexibility is needed taking into account the event that weekend and even more so when the “check in” is offered from 3:00 p.m. and I gave plenty of advance notice.

We stayed at this hotel for four nights and were very satisfied. The room - junior suite - was very clean and modernly furnished. The beds are also spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Blankets and pillows felt new and high quality.Only the towels don't seem to be changed regularly. When we asked housekeeping, it wasn't a problem at all on the third day.Our room had a balcony, an additional comfort in the big city. Located on a side street and the park, it was wonderfully quiet at night even with the window open.We had breakfast in the room, which was very feasible thanks to the well-equipped kitchenette. There is a newly opened organic shop in the house, where you can conveniently buy fresh pastries and all sorts of goodies in the morning for a good start to the day.Another big plus is the subway station in the same building (Mendelssohn-Bartoldy-Park). You can appreciate this luxury in the evening at the latest when your legs are tired.Checking in and out was also quick and easy.We can absolutely recommend High Park Berlin and will be happy to come back!

There is nothing specifically bad about this hotel, but I’m giving it three stars because it is VERY over-priced. …
